Greatest Achievements
Isaac Newton was also credited as being one of the greatest minds of the 17th century, and was wanted for his famous law of gravitation, and was a key part of the scientific revolution of the 17th century.
In 1687, Newton published his most acclaimed work, Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica.
Newtons Studies
Newton completed his basic studies at the Kings School in a town in Lincolnshire. Newtons uncle noticed his intellectual abilities and persuaded his mother to allow Newton to enter University of Cambridges Trinity College.
Newtons Family
Newton was the only son of a prosperous farmer, who Newton was also named after. Newtons father died 3 months before he was born, and was raised by his mother, Hannah Newton.
I do not know what I may appear to the world; but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the seashore, and diverting myself now and then in finding a smoother pebble or prettier shell than ordinary, while the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me.
