Step 3 Raise vehicle. On a (lat8 le"el su%(a$e8 position the (loo% 3a$4 un#e% the (%ont #%i"e% si#e li(t point 7ehin# the #%i"e% si#e (%ont wheel) aise "ehi$le 10 0 12 in$hes) Position 3a$4 stan# at the li(t point an# slowly lowe% "ehi$le onto the stan#)

Step 4 Drain coolant from engine. .sin5 the $hannel lo$4 plie%s8 %e!o"e the sp%in5 $la!p (%o! the lowe% %a#iato% hose at the %a#iato%) Open the %a#iato% $ap to p%o"i#e "entilation) Position the #%ain pan un#e% the hose whe%e the hose !eets the %a#iato% an# %e!o"e the hose (%o! the %a#iato%) *llow 2-> !inutes (o% en5ine an# %a#iato% to #%ain

Step 6 npl!g radiator and condenser fans. .nplu5 ea$h (an ta4in5 $a%e to a"oi# #a!a5in5 the plasti$ plu5 o% so$4et

Step " Remove radiator mo!nting brac#ets. .sin5 the so$4et w%en$h with 12 !! so$4et8 %e!o"e the two 7olts that hol# the %a#iato% !ountin5 7%a$4ets in pla$e) .sin5 the sa!e w%en$h8 %e!o"e the two 7olts that (asten the %a#iato% to the $on#ense%) On$e the 7%a$4ets a%e %e!o"e#8 the %a#iato% will 7e (%ee)

Step $ Remove radiator. -a%e(ully li(t the %a#iato% an# (an asse!7ly st%ai5ht out o( the "ehi$le ta4in5 $a%e not to sna5 any wi%es o% "a$uu! lines in the p%o$ess) Pla$e on a wo%47en$h o% (loo% with the (ans (a$e up to (a$ilitate (an %e!o"al)

Step % Remove radiator and condenser fans.

 .sin5 the so$4et w%en$h with 10 !! so$4et8 %e!o"e the th%ee s$%ews at the top o( the (ans) Pull the (an towa%#s the top o( the %a#iato% until the (an asse!7ly (eet slip out o( thei% slots) 9o the sa!e (o% the $on#ense% (an #i%e$tly ne?t to the %a#iato% (an)

Step 1& 'repare the ne( radiator for installation. .n7o? an# e?a!ine the new %a#iato% (o% "isi7le #e(e$ts) /t is i!po%tant that the %a#iato% (ins a%e not 7ent an# that the inlet an# outlet a%e in the $o%%e$t position) E?a!ine the !ountin5 holes (o% the (ans an# ensu%e that it is (o% the $o%%e$t t%ans!ission8 i)e) auto!ati$ o% !anual) Lea"e any $aps o% plu5s $o"e%in5 any o%i(i$e in pla$e (o% now to p%e"ent $onta!inants (%o! 5ettin5 into the %a#iato%) Step 11 )nstall fans on ne( radiator. /nstall (ans in the %e"e%se o%#e% they we%e %e!o"e#) Gently seat 7otto! le5s in thei% slots an# push until seate#) 9O NO' +O -E1 /( the (an #oes not want to seat p%ope%ly8 %e!o"e the (an8 inspe$t the slots at the 7ase o( the %a#iato% (o% #e(e$t o% 7lo$4a5e an# t%y a5ain) epla$e the th%ee s$%ews on top o( asse!7ly an# to%@ue A tu%n past han# ti5ht)

Step 12 Re*install radiator+fan assembly. e!o"e any $aps o% plu5s $o"e%in5 any inlets o% outlets on the new %a#iato%) -a%e(ully lowe% the asse!7ly into pla$e ta4in5 $a%e not to sna5 any wi%es o% "a$uu! hoses on the way in) Ensu%e that the !ountin5 (eet at the 7otto! o( the %a#iato% sit (i%!ly in thei% !ountin5 7%a$4ets) 9O NO' +O -E1 /( the asse!7ly will not seat p%ope%ly in its !ounts8 %e!o"e the asse!7ly an# inspe$t the 7%a$4ets (o% 7lo$4a5e o% #a!a5e an# t%y a5ain)

Step 13 )nstall top mo!nting brac#ets. On$e seate# p%ope%ly8 line up the top !ountin5 7%a$4ets with thei% %espe$ti"e holes in the %a#iato% suppo%t) Ensu%e that the 7%a$4ets sit s@ua%ely on the %a#iato% !ountin5 posts on the top o( the %a#iato%) /nstall two top 7%a$4et s$%ews (in5e% ti5ht an# %e(asten the $on#ense% !ountin5 7%a$4ets) 'o%@ue all 7olts A tu%n past han# ti5ht)

Step 14 Reconnect fans. Ensu%e that the plu5s an# %e$epta$les a%e (%ee (%o! #i%t an# #e7%is 7e(o%e %e$onne$tin5)

Step 15 )nstall ne( hoses. e$onne$t t%ans!ission hoses at 7otto! (i( auto!ati$ t%ans!ission)) /nstall new lowe% hose an# uppe% hose) E?a!ine ol# sp%in5 $la!ps (o% #e(e$t an# %epla$e i( ne$essa%y)
