GSM Test Engineer Key Responsibilities: Lead testing of Samsung`s flagship handheld devices (S4, S5, Note Series) network functionality with local and regional network operators. Assign each handheld product as a project and ensure all issues in terms of quality have been fixed before the release of the device in the mainstream market. Actively report all issues pertaining to operators and Samsung devices interoperability with accountability of having them resolved through coordination, meeting all deadlines. Accountable for ensuring project delivery within budget & time despite demanding schedules. Manage project risks and issues and guiding team members toward improving how they work. Synchronised with SIM card manufacturers for 360 degree testing of SIM cards with all Samsung devices including the testing of NFC (Near Field Communications) SIM cards and their compatibility with Samsung devices. Conducted a range of field tests including Radio and Audio performance test, Hardware testing and software verification on all Samsung Mobile devices. Generated technical logs by analysing all issues for each device with different specifications and chipsets (Qualcomm, Infineon and Broadcom) and escalate findings to R&D for further development or correction. Responsible for testing, reviewing and managing all local contents of Samsung Applications before being released to Samsung Apps market. Optimizing resource utilization across various Samsung projects ensuring timely delivery of projects/programs with defined standards. Conduct prompt LTE network verification of all operators located in UAE and the Gulf region to verify release of all Samsung LTE devices.

Support Engineer May 2011 August 2011 Key Responsibilities: Engage in detailed planning, implementation and deployment of IPTV to customers using the company's fibre optic network for watching satellite television. Steps Included mounting and configuring of Cisco and Juniper routers and switches at specified locations all over Kuala Lumpur. Configured and mounted Cisco and Juniper routers and switches at specified locations all over Kuala Lumpur. Carried out the configuration of servers such as DHCP server at company headquarters. Support the companys network migration to IPv6 which is the latest communication protocol that provides an identification and location for devices accessing the operators network Maintain and troubleshoot the fibre optic network and fibre optic cables at the network operation centre located at the companys headquarters and at many specified locations across Malaysia.

Key Accomplishments: Instrumental role in implementing and deploying of IPTV project for providing High Definition cable channels with personal video recording (PVR) and Video on Demand (VOD) services via 100% fibre broadband service to over 167,000 customers. Successfully designed and mapped out fibre optic cables between routers all over the companys network in Malaysia which reduced the installation times by an estimated 30% and received wide appreciation Crucial member and part of the team that was in charge of the companys network migration from IPv4 to I Pv6 to build large new networks.
