Goal Statement: Obtain a position as a team-player in a patient-centered organization where I can effectively utilize my nursing skills and gain experience in a challenging environment and enables me to make a positive contribution to the health and wellness of patients.

Obtain employment as an RN or LPN or be part of a new RN graduate program in mental health nursing or community nursing.

Become a charge nurse or team leader Become part of a volunteer organization

BS Nursing Certified in ACLS, Phlebotomy and EKG Be an active member of APNA Attend National and International Nursing Conference

--------------------------------------- Review for NCLEX-PN and RN and take it as soon as possible Upon passing NCLEX apply for entry position LPN or RN to hospitals or Skilled Nursing Facility I am also looking into community nursing and apply for the State or Federal My long-term goal is to be a psychiatric or mental health nurse Volunteer in community outreach program and in hospitals or skilled nursing facility Become a member of a nursing organization such as Hawaii Nurses Association and other organizations related to chosen field. Apply to UHM baccalaureate of nursing program or online learning university Attend skill enhancement courses or continuing education credits such as ACLS, Telemetry, phlebotomy and geriatric Apply and be an active member of APNA-HI

I worked as content tutor at Leeward Community College, helping students with Biochemistry/Anatomy and Physiology One on one instruction provided me with confidence in patient interaction Nursing skills Therapeutic Communication

As content tutor, I team up with other tutors and conduct workshops on learning styles and management Learned public speaking and effective presentation skills I was responsible for subject areas of concern, student progress and coordinating and speaking with professors regarding student progress Member YWCA Red Cross Volunteer, Disaster Mental Health Fundamentals
