Two rectangles with cables thats all you need to construct this beautiful poncho. The mirrored cable creates the elegant arrowhead pattern. A sophisticated look without fringe or a fun, sporty look with.

Directions are given for small size with large size in brackets. If there is only one gure, it applies to all sizes. Make two pieces as follows: Loosely CO 66 [78] sts. Knit rst ve rows. Set up row. Row 1: K4, PM, K2, P8, K2, P8, K2, PM, *P5, K1, repeat from * (ve [seven] times), K4 Row 2: (RS) K4, Repeat P1, K5 pattern to rst marker, slip marker now and throughout pattern, P2, K8, P2, K8, P2, K4 Row 3: K4, K2, P8, K2, P8, K2, *P5, K1 repeat from * (ve [seven] times), end K4 Row 4: Repeat row 2 Row 5: Repeat row 3 Row 6: Repeat row 2 to marker, P2 CF8, P2, CB8, P2, K4 Row 7: Repeat row 3 Row 8: Repeat row 2 Row 9: Repeat row 3 Row 10: Repeat row 2 Row 11: Repeat row 3 Repeat these 10 rows until piece measures 28 [32] inches ending with a wrong side row. Then knit ve rows and BO loosely. Sew pieces together as in diagram aligning circles and squares together. Weave in all ends and fringe as desired.
