Future members of UM5A-IEEE student branch Establishment of a Student Branch at Mohammed V-Agdals University: Although our student Branch has not yet been established, steps have been taken to encourage students at our University to become IEEE members. A meeting will be arranged early next month, to officially launch our Student Branch. Right now, we are looking for a wide networking effect between us and engineers from other institutes here in Rabat. Students at the INPT are also in the process of creating the INPT-IEEE student branch. We hope that together, we will form a strong and productive IEEE student structure. Developing synergies within IEEE: Our UM5A-IEEE student branch will be formed to provide the students of the University of Mohammed V-Agdal with some benefits such as: - Opportunities to meet and learn from fellow students, as well as from faculty members and professionals in the engineering field. - Participate in educational, technical, and professional activities such as research projects, meetings, and tours. - Participate in regional conferences, trainings, and workshops to develop their skills. - Participate to award competitions, scholarships and project/design programs and student paper contests. - Improve their English. We hope that our IEEE Student Branch will be a positive element in the UM5A-IEEE. We will do all our best to make this association a successful one. To know more about us and about our activities, please email Imade Benelallam, IEEE-UM5A-SB coordinator, at benelalam@hotmail.com.
