Responsible for multiple special projects that involved elaborate coordination of support staff schedules and services, coordination of employee focus groups, large scale recruiting events, college recruiting, records management, employee benefits reporting, employee training, and much more. Acquired strong interpersonal skills along with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management. Performed numerous office management duties including processing client billing, vendor payments, and temporary staff payroll. Supported department managers, bankers, and analysts with human resource needs including departmental hiring, evaluating staff performance, and terminations. Coordinated various student classroom activities to support teachers during seven years as a volunteer room parent including special reading and writing activities, learning center activities, and field trip organization. Organized, managed, or co-chaired several special school events like Barnes & Noble Book Fairs, Nationally known Authors visits, First Grade Musical, 5th Grade celebration activities, annual Science Fair, and much more. PTA committee chair for the SEATS committee which supported teachers and students by researching and scheduling learning opportunities that reinforce Henrico County core curriculum at every grade level including in-school field trips, science labs, active learning social studies activities, school-wide writing workshops, and much more. Managed PTA funding for in-school enrichment activities that ranged from $2,000 to $22,000+ annually.
