Students must discuss and identify why it is important to be nice to one another and the best way to resolve conflicts. The students will also need to write why they are thankful for someone. G. Closure: A quick discussion will take place on why they wrote to the person they chose. The students will also be reminded how important it is to show respect for one another and to always be considerate.

H. Reflection: 1.Which part of the lesson do you think will be the easiest for you to teach? The easiest part of the lesson will be teaching the students how to be polite and considerate to one another. The students have followed classroom and school rules since the beginning of the school and they know what is expected of them. 2. Which part will be most challenging for you to teach? The most challenging part of this lesson will be teaching the new vocabulary words. There are a lot of words the students need to know the meaning of. Some of the words may be new to the students so I need to make sure and go over each work thoroughly. 3. How will you follow up or extend this lesson? I will follow up this lesson the following day. As a whole class we will go over our new vocabulary words and talk about how important it is to be considerate to one another. If the child can help resolve the problem on their own they should try their best hear both sides of the story and help everyone get along. Also, the teacher will make sure to remind the students to always contact and adult if they think one of their peers is being bullying. 4. What can you do for students who dont grasp the concepts? For students who dont grasp the concepts I can pull a small group while the other students are writing their thank you cards. In the small group I can re-teach the lesson and will give the student additional time creating their thank-you card. 5. Which part of the lesson, if any, do you think might need to change? I may need to break the lesson into 2 parts. Teaching the students how important it is to be considerate and polite to one another is a topic and lesson that needs to be taught thoroughly. Also, I want to make sure and spend a good amount of time on different ways of how to resolve classroom conflicts. 6. When you were writing this lesson plan, what was the most difficult part? The assessment part was most difficult for me. I wanted to make sure that it was challenging but not overwhelming for the children.
