Fresnoza 1 Iain Fresnoza Mr.Hawkins Government 1-27-14 | Period 1 What am I?

Not too long ago a question was brought before me to answer. Am I a Liberal or a Conservative, a question of my well being if one would look closely. Well my answer became my statement for whom and what I began to stand for once I began to think critically on that question. I began to wonder, who am I? What makes me unique compared to the guy right next to me. So I delve into the question itself, what am I a Liberal or a Conservative. To start my search the first thing I wanted to avoid was self proclamation, Ive seen from others experiences of how self proclaiming can wind up bad so my first plan was to find a way to an unbiased method or system that would judge me without having heavy influence of once side. I began research online to search for tests and quizzes that might have helped but my best chance were user made polls. Now since these polls were user made id obviously see some preferential questions and responses the creator would want to influence on me. So my best chance of succeeding with my plans now was to take multiple polls of different points of view to ascertain a well balanced average. After finding the polls I began to research and look through the poll material. Although the three polls had different personal opinions around them what was clear was the creators intentions. The creator felt his personal need to share what he believed was important in society to him but also made sure to show equal care to the others events in the community as well. These types of polls were key to finding the different ideological responses I was looking for to find myself. Now satisfied with what I found I began to undergo taking these polls.

Fresnoza 2 I began to make my way across the taking the polls analyzing every question and response possible that was available. Instead of answering questions with reasoning and heavy emotion I decided to critically think without letting my personal feelings belittle my better logical influence on the questions. As I finished the questions before me the polls concluded with a unanimous decision. I am a moderate liberalist; I was fifty three percent to the conservatives forty seven. Having an unbiased answer from three different sources made me content with the results itself. In the end my thought process and ability were a moderate liberals state of mind with the ability to think of a wider and more open minded scale for others even without adding emotional value to the scenario. I can safely agree with the polls of feeling moderately liberal because of what a liberalist fights for and what they think is important. Albeit I merely moderate so conservative thoughts still live within me. And whether I am Conservative or Liberal what I must remember is who I am what I as a person believe is right not party A or party B
