TPHS is alive, well and growing.
The current team of fifteen stu-
dents auditioned for the Team in
May of 2005, and have been work-
ing together ever since, achieving a
new standard for excellence for
dance at TPHS. The Falcon Dance
Team rehearsed in leased local dance
studio space all summer and attend-
ed a camp in USA Jazz Dance
Camp at Cal State Long Beach on
August 12 - 14, 2005. Team mem-
bers (accompanied by our coaches,
advisor and parent chaperones),
attended classes, workshops, and
competed for Dance Star ribbons.

honor and performed in front of
the entire camp as a finalist!
During the school year, the Team
rehearses two afternoons each week,

sional career has been dedicated to nonprofit organizations at
national, mid-size and grass root levels. Anne has had fourteen
years of fundraising experience in the North Coastal and San

needed purchase and would not have
been possible without the help of

Video/Film News
Thank You! Our Fall Appeal generated an
overwhelming response.
Your generous contributions are helping
to facilitate our goal of updating our video
department with the latest technological
advancements and training tools in the
industry.
Recent purchases, made available
through parent donations and mini-grants,
include 8 mini DV digital cameras, two
shotgun microphones and a Final Cut Pro
editing/teaching workstation, all which are
used on a regular basis, directly benefiting
the students this year.
In the upcoming months, we plan to
add another workstation, two I-Macs for
I-Movie editing, replace old cameras and
broken tripods, and upgrade the sound
capturing system.
The TPHS Film Festival, organized
by the Video/Film Club, will be held on
Friday, February 10th at 6:30 p.m. in
the Lecture Hall. A variety of short films
produced by TPHS students will be show-
cased. Admission price: adults - $5.00,
students - $2.00
All proceeds will benefit the Video/Film
Club.
