TESTIMONIALS

The 24h of innovation competition was an interesting, enriching and unique experience that provided real-world work simulations, a focus on teamwork. I was exposed to an unbelievable and irreplaceable cultural experience unlike any I have had before. This opportunity has been an incredible asset to my professional development, and I look forward to learn how much more it will continue to shape my career in the future. I sincerely recommend this very special opportunity at least once in your life.

IN DOWNTOWN MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada

This 24h of innovation was an extremely rewarding experience both from a human and technological perspective. I recommend it to anyone. What I liked the most was the tremendous diversity of participants from different countries. By the end of this competition, we had traveled around the world. The way they worked was so different and instructive... Im clearly thankful to TS for giving me this opportunity.

June July 2014 (3 weeks) Innovation Management Achieving the Prototype Level

The 24 hours of innovation is really about pushing your limits! Whether the topics covered are technical, creative, scientific or social, they require a tremendous team effort to stand and perform within the given time-limits. I definitely enjoyed that experience because it allowed me to meet new people in a very unusual competition environment. A real-life situation where you can discover every mood a person can go through in a single day and even learn about your own behaviour and reactions. It is an opportunity that was given to me by TS, and that I can only wish for any other student!

WELCOME MESSAGE
cole de technologie suprieure (TS) is excited to launch the first edition of an international summer school program which will host engineering students from partner institutions from all over the world. The summer school will provide a rich immersion into the Canadian culture and Canadian way of teaching and learning. The learning approach at TS is very pragmatic and based on competency management, rather than knowledge management. This means that by the end of this intensive course, students will be able to apply the notions learned.
The summer school begins with students participating in the 24 hours of innovation competition (see innokiz.com) in May 2014. The 24 hours of innovation competition is held on university campuses all over the world and you can participate right from within your home institution. The ideas which will have emerged from a sleepless global challenge will then be taken through the different steps of innovation management to achieve the prototype level (Summer School in June/July). Exciting? We certainly think it is!
