ThisisthedefaultviewforTeachersandAdminsandprovidesaquicksnapshotofactivities
suchasanoverallviewofProjectscreatedandsubmittedaswellasanoverallviewofProjects
createdandcompletedusinganassessmentrubric.
Usage

ThistabprovidesaquickoverviewofStudent,ParentandProjectDataforTeachers

TeacherData(onlyintheAdminDashboard)

StudentData:TeachersandAdminscanseeanoverviewofallstudentactivitybyGrade.
StudentdatacanbesortedbyLast_nameandincludesProjects,Postsandlastlogindate.

ParentData:TeachersandAdminscanseeactiveparentaccountswiththeassociated
students,overallnumberofparentcommentsaswellaslastactivitydate.

Analytics:theAnalyticsDashboardpresentsagraphicalrepresentationoftheassessment
rubricsforProjectsthatutilizeassessmentstandards.

numberinareddotnexttotheairplaneiconatthetopleftofthescreen.

StudentsreceiveanAlertwheneveraprojecthasbeenassigned(orrevised)orwhenevera
commenthasbeenmadeonthestudent'swork.ByclickingonanAlertthestudentcango
directlytoviewtheassignedprojectorthecomment.

TeachersreceiveanAlertwheneverastudenthassubmittedaProject,orPost,orComment
orwheneveraParenthassubmittedacomment.

ParentsreceiveanAlertwhenevernewstudentProjectsorPostsareavailableforthemtoview.

Connections

ConnectionsisatermusedinOSePthatreferstoalltheactiveassociationsaStudent(or
TeacherorParentorAdministrator)haswithotherOSePusers.

NOTE:Connectionsisonlyusedviathewebapp.Thetablet(iPadandAndroid)interfaceis
differentanddoesnotutilizeConnections.

AdminView

AdministratorscanviewStudentsbyGradeaswellasTeachersactiveintheOSePApp.Via
Connections,administratorscanviewastudent'scompleteePortfolio,personalaswellas
academicside.

TeacherView

1.ATeacher'sConnectionsconsistofallthestudentsinhis/herSectionsandalltheregistered
Parents/Guardiansofthosestudents.IntheSchoolVersionofOSePteacherswillhave
additionalconnections:allotherteachersassociatedwiththestudentsandanyadministrators
overseeingtheprogram.

2.ThatcanbealotofConnections!LuckilytheOSePinterfacemakesiteasytonavigate
throughallyourconnections.

3.IntheControlPaneloftheteacherlandingpageclickonConnections.Whenthepage
refreshes,clickontheGroupyouwanttosee:Students,Parents/GuardiansorTeachers.Ifyou
selectStudents,youcanalsoselectwhatGradeyouwanttoseeoryoucanenterafirstorlast
nameofastudentinthesearchbar.OnceyouhavebroughtupastudentConnection,ifyou
clickontheirPortfolioicontoseetheirentireePortfolio.

StudentView

1.AStudent'sConnectionsconsistofallthestudentsinhis/herSections,his/herTeachers,and
his/herregisteredParents/Guardians.IntheSchoolVersionofOSePstudents
willalsoseeadministratorsoverseeingtheprogram.

2.IftheStudentgoestotheControlPaneloftheirlandingpageandselectsConnectionshe/she
willbedirectedtotheconnectionspage.Whenthepagerefreshes,clickontheGroupyouwant
tosee:Students,Parents/GuardiansorTeachers.
