    PleasereviewthefollowinginformationregardingtheproposedVerizonWirelesssitetobecalled
    DolphinHead(P0218).

    VerizonWirelessisrequestingpermissiontoconstructanewwirelesstelecommunicationstoweroff
    DolphinHeadDriveinHiltonHead,SC.

    Theproposedsiteisnecessarytoprovideinbuildingwirelesscoveragetoresidentialandcommercial
    areasonHiltonHead,particularlyareasalongDolphinHeadDriveandsurroundinggolfcourses.
    Currentlytheseareashavepoororinadequatewirelessservice.

    Theattachedpropagationmapsshowanestimateofthecurrentandfuturecoverage.Thedesired
    coveragelevelfortheareaisGreen,75dBmRSSIfor1Xand90dBmRSRPforLTEtosupport
    inbuildingcoverageincommercialstructures.Ihavealsoincludedamapshowingcustomerswhohave
    purchasedenhancementdevicesfromVerizonWirelesstoprovidecoverageintheirhomeorbusiness.

    VerizonWirelesshasstudiedtheareathoroughlyanddeterminedthatatowerheightof145ftabove
    groundlevelisappropriateatthislocationtofulfilltheRFrequirements.Theproposedtowerwillbe
    designedtosupportVerizonWirelesssnetworkgrowthandevolutionthroughmultiplechannelsof1X
    CDMA,EVDO,and4GLTEservice.

    Verizonwirelesscertifiesthatallofitsequipmentwillbeinstalledandoperatedinkeepingwith
    applicableFAAandFCCrulesandregulationsandappropriateindustrystandards.Theconstructionof
    thistower,includingVerizonWirelesssinstallationoftransmitter/receiverequipment,willnotinterfere
    withtheusualandcustomarytransmissionorreceptionofradio,television,etc.serviceenjoyedby
    adjacentproperties.VerizonWirelesscertifiesthattheproposedtowerwillnotinterferewithPublic
    Safetyradioequipmentinthevicinity.
