Company Name: Dermatuff, Inc. Trade Name: Indestrux Generic Name: Sheathrombin Physical Description: A tube-like container that contains the required amount of drug ready to be dispensed. It has a cover on the needle until it is ready to be used in any given situation called an Epipen. Primary Drug Classification: Platelet-Stimulating Agent Intended Indications and Usage: To prevent prolonged bleeding and protect the skin from deep injuries. Contraindications: Hemophiliacs, people on the line of duty, and people with blood thinners. Dosage Standards: 0.3 mg for people who weigh at least 30 kilograms in adults. Route of Administration: Epipen (Subcutaneous Injection) Potential Drug/Food Interactions: Avoid taking any aspirin or NSAIDs since it may cause damage or headache and dizziness to your body. Also, avoid any alcohol since it may cause bleeding to worsen or not clot properly in your blood. Potential Unwanted Side Effects: Abnormal bleeding, headache, dizziness, muscle pain, stomach pain, or sleep problems. Potential Effects on Laboratory Test: We tested our drug on hemophiliacs and about 20% of the individuals still bled as usual while the other 80% of the individuals had their blood clotting increased speed which then they started to heal faster. Potential Effects on Existing Medical Disorders: Do not take if you have any blood cancers, kidney or liver disease, or high platelet levels since it may cause more damage than it should be to your body. Use During Pregnancy and in Children: It is not required to be used for pregnant women considering they have increasing blood clotting factors due to their hormones during pregnancy. When your children may get injured, you can use this drug to help increase their blood to clot rapidly to help prevent major blood loss or prevent further blood from coming out of their bodies. Mechanism of Action: When injected into the bloodstream, our drug has Effector Cell Protease Receptor-1 agonists (EPR-1) to bind with Factor Xa onto platelets or white blood cells. The factor Xa will be produced in the intrinsic and extrinsic channels of the coagulation cascade process that will increase or accelerate the production of Factor Xa combined with Factor V to convert Prothrombin into Thrombin. Therefore, Thrombin will help alleviate the pain or increase blood clotting when you have deep cuts or burns. Factor Xa is where the intrinsic and extrinsic channels combine together to help increase the reproduction of prothrombin in order to get thrombin to increase blood clotting in the system of our bodies. The platelets would then be able to increase in the construction of several blood clotting factors to prevent people from bleeding out immediately.
