“THE PERFECT WORK OF THE CROSS”

Note: How many of you are really Sick and Tired of Feeling Sick and Tired? As Believers, We have
been Putting Up With All Kinds of Sickness, Pain, and All Sorts of Stuff that the Enemy has
been throwing at us…Being Ignorant of What We Have in Christ.

➢ Everything We Need to be a “Full of Life” Believer has been Given to Us at the Cross! It
was Accomplished at the Cross of Calvary.

Note: It really Doesn’t Matter What you Say or Think about your Situation! If you Believe that When
Jesus Died on the Cross for You so You could have Life and Experience Life More Abundantly,
then That’s Good!!!

➢ You see, When Jesus Died on the Cross, it was a Perfect Work!!! It was Perfect…
Without Fault or Defect! It was Exact! It was Precise! It was a Complete Work!

Note: That’s Why When Jesus Gave Up His Spirit He Shouted, “It Is Finished!” His Death on the Cross
Wasn’t In Vain, It Wasn’t for Nothing. It was a Complete and Perfect Work Accomplished for
You and I! When Christ Died on the Cross, it was a Forever Work!

➢ We Don’t have to Walk around Broke, Busted, Disgusted and Sickly. Jesus went to the Cross so
We could be Prosperous, Healed and Encouraged!

Note: Maybe some of you are even saying, “All the things I’m going through are happening to me
because God is mad with me.” That’s a Lie from the Very Pits of Hell!!!

Big Note: Some of you may even be saying, “I’m Not Reading the Word and Praying Enough, That’s
Why I am Not Blessed.” But, It’s Not Your Efforts that will Bless You…It’s What Christ
Already Did for You and I on the Cross that Makes Us Radically Blessed!!!

➢ Reading and Listening to the Word and Praying will Build Up Our Faith to Believe that “Yes, We
are Radically Blessed!!!”

Remember: Romans 10:17 says, “So then Faith Comes by Hearing, and Hearing by the Word of God.”

Note: As We Come to Church Every Week and Hear the Word and Apply It in Our Everyday Walk,
Our
Faith will be Made Strong!!!

Email: Without God, Every Week would be like this…Sinday instead of Sunday, Mournday instead of
Monday, Tearsday instead of Tuesday, Wasteday instead of Wednesday, Thirstday instead of
Thursday, Fightday instead of Friday, and Shatterday instead of Saturday. Remember, Seven
Days Without God Makes One WEAK!!!

 ➢ So the More We Come to Church and Attend GT Meetings and Prayer Meetings and Whatever
Meetings that We Have, the More Our Faith will be Built.

Note: The Early Church Met Daily Going from House to House, Breaking Bread and Having Fellowship
with Other Believers.

➢ The More We Hear the Gospel of Only Christ and the Gospel of Radical Grace Preached, the
More We will Come to Know the Truth and It’s Knowing the Truth that will Set Us FREE!!!

Note: That’s What Christ Did on the Cross. He came to Set Us Free!!!...Free from the Law, Free from
Sickness, Free from Disease, Free from Poverty, and Free from Every Curse!!!

➢ Christ Came to Set Us Free from the Fundamental Spiritual Problem. He Came to Set Us
Free From Spiritual Sufferings, Relational Sufferings, Emotional Sufferings, Mental
Sufferings, Physical Sufferings, Financial Sufferings, Immoral Sufferings, Eternal
Sufferings, and Any Sufferings that could be Passed from Generation to Generation!!!

I Peter 2:21-25 (The Message) – This is the kind of life you've been invited into, the kind of life Christ
lived. He suffered everything that came his way so you would know that it could be done, and
also know how to do it, step-by-step. He Never Did One Thing Wrong, Not Once Said Anything
Amiss. They called Him every name in the book and He said nothing back. He suffered in
silence, content to let God set things right. He used His Servant Body to Carry our Sins to the
Cross so we could be Rid of Sin, Free to Live the Right Way. His Wounds became Your Healing.
You were Lost Sheep with no idea who you were or where you were going. Now You're named
and Kept for Good by the Shepherd of our Souls.

Note: Have you ever wondered Why the Cross?...Why Jesus Had to Die on the Cross? This morning, I
pray that we would All Come to the Understanding of the Significance of the Cross.

Numbers 35:1-34 – v. 33 – Don't Pollute the Land in which you live. Murder Pollutes the Land. The
Land Can't Be Cleaned Up of the Blood of Murder Except through the Blood
of the Murderer.

Note: God made it very clear that Capital Punishment would be Enforced If Anyone Committed
Murder.
To Fail to Put a Murderer to Death Polluted and Defiled the Land.

➢ “To Defile” means that Failure to Avenge the Death of the Innocent Person would Cause God to
Withdraw His Presence, Blessings, and Help from the Land.

Note: God’s Holiness and Justice Required that No Murderer be Allowed to Go Free. Capital
Punishment in Israel Expressed God’s Holy Desire that Righteousness and the Sanctity of
Innocent Life be Maintained among His People as a Holy Nation.

➢ Another way of saying, “The Land Can't Be Cleaned Up of the Blood of Murder Except through
the Blood of the Murderer,” is: “The Only Way a Wrong could be made Right is by Having the
Wrong Pay a Penalty for the Wrong that was Committed.”

Deuteronomy 21:22-23 – 22 If a Man has Committed a Sin Deserving of Death, and he is Put to Death,

 and You Hang him on a Tree, 23 his body shall not remain overnight on the tree but you shall
surely bury him that day, so that You Do Not Defile the Land which the Lord your God is giving
you as an Inheritance; for He who is Hanged is Accursed of God.

Galatians 3:13-14 (The Message) – 13-14 Christ Redeemed Us from that Self-Defeating, Cursed Life by
Absorbing it Completely into Himself. Do you remember the Scripture that says, “Cursed is
everyone who hangs on a tree”? That is What Happened When Jesus was Nailed to the Cross: He
Became a Curse, and At the Same Time Dissolved the Curse. And now, because of that, the air is
cleared and we can see that Abraham's Blessing is Present and Available for Non-Jews, too. We
are All Able to Receive God's Life, His Spirit, In and With Us by Believing—just the way
Abraham Received It.

➢ Jesus Christ Hung on the Cross and Became a Curse for Us and by Doing That, He Literally
Dissolved Every Curse!!!

Note: In the Same Way as We Read in Numbers 35:33 that the Land Can't Be Cleaned Up of the Blood
of Murder Except through the Blood of the Murderer – Jesus Christ, Although He Did Nothing
Wrong, Humbled Himself, and Took the Capital Punishment for Each and Every One of Us Who
Deserved It so that We could be in Right Standing with God!!!

II Corinthians 5:21 – For He made Him who Knew No Sin to Be Sin for Us, that We might Become the
Righteousness of God in Him.

➢ Because God Loved Us So Much, this Act of Capital Punishment had to be Carried Out so We
could Become the Righteousness of God!!!

Note: God Knew that the Only Way We, Filthy Sinners – We, the Disobedient, Wicked and Polluted
Generation could be made Clean and in Right Standing with God was Only through Jesus Christ
Dying on the Cross, Becoming a Curse for Us – So that We could be Free from the Curse!!!

➢ We were a Cursed People who Through the Cross of Christ became Radically Blessed
People!!!

Note: Through the Fall of Man, We were All Cursed, but God Loved Us Too Much to Let Us Remain
in
this Cursed Condition. So He Did It His Way!!! Every Curse we can think of has been Broken
by
the Perfect Work of the Cross!!!

➢ From the Very Beginning of the Fall of Man in Genesis Chapter 3, God said, “And I will put
Enmity (Hate) between You and the Woman, and Between Your Seed and Her Seed; He shall
Bruise your Head, and You shall Bruise His Heel.”

I John 3:8 – For this Purpose the Son of God was Manifested, that He might Destroy the Works of the
Devil.

Note: Jesus Christ came to Live and Die and Destroy Every Work of the Devil…Whether it was
Sickness,

 Disease, High Blood Pressure, Cancer, Poverty, etc. Jesus Christ came to Deliver Us from All
the
Curses from the Works of the Law!!!
Deuteronomy 28:15 – But it shall come to pass, if You Do Not Obey the Voice of the LORD your God, to
Observe Carefully all His Commandments and His Statutes which I command you today, that All
These Curses will Come Upon You and Overtake You. (Read The Curses on Disobedience from
v. 16-68)

Note: Sometimes, We have to Know the Bad News so We can be Blessed by the Good News…And
This
Morning, We are Radically Blessed!

Deuteronomy 28:1-14 – The Blessings on Obedience

Now it shall come to pass, if you Diligently Obey the Voice of the LORD your God, to Observe
Carefully All His Commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will
Set You High Above All Nations of the Earth. 2 And All These Blessings shall Come Upon You
and Overtake You, because You Obey the Voice of the LORD your God:

Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.
4
Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your
herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.
5
Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.
6
Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
7
The LORD will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they
shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.
8
The LORD will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set
your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God is giving you.
9
The LORD will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you
keep the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways.
10
Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they
shall be afraid of you.
11
And the LORD will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your
livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the LORD swore to your
fathers to give you.
12
The LORD will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its
season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not
borrow.
13
And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be
beneath, if you heed the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today,
and are careful to observe them.
14
So you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right or
the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

Note: We are Radically Blessed because of the Perfect Work of the Cross!!!

CONCLUSION:

Galatians 3:13-14 – 13 Christ has Redeemed Us from the Curse of the Law, Having Become a Curse for
Us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 14 that the Blessing of Abraham

might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that We might Receive the Promise of the Spirit
through Faith.
You may say at times, “Why am I still going through a Challenge in my Physical Body? Why am I still
going through a Challenge in my Finances? Why am I still going through a Challenge in my Family and
in my Relationships?” Well, the Devil will try to bring Curses upon our Lives, but through Faith, As We
Radically Believe that We have been Set Free and are Radically Blessed, Blessed, Blessed…Nothing shall
Come Near Us nor Our Dwellings! Nothing shall Come Near Our Children or Our Children’s Children!
And it’s Only because of the Perfect Work of the Cross!!! And everyone said a “Perfected” Amen.
