Advantages of Tally

Inventory and Financials are integrated. Hence easy for compiling all major
Financial reports like P& L and Balance sheet etc.,
Stock Movement: Movement of Inventory can be clearly identified and hence easy
identification of mistakes in case of errors. Good control over the movement of Stock
transfers in between locations. Like for every transfer out there can be only one
transfer in and also the location to which transfer out is made can do a transfer in.
Enhanced Stock Reports: Location-wise, product-wise, Daily Despatch Reports,
Filling/Blending, Stock Transfer etc.,
Enhanced Financial Reports: Customer Ledger, Supplier Ledger, Expense statements
cost center-wise, Sales Reports (location-wise, product-wise, sales men-wise),
Outstanding details, Ageing reports etc.,
Primary Transportation and Primary Transportation Sales (in case of Bulk Gas) is
automated and also appropriated to inventory cost wherever applicable.
Multiple Deposit Codes: Automatic updation of financials (Refundable and non-
refundable deposit amounts) in case of cylinders sold to Customers via Floor Stock
or SV. Similarly automatic updation of financials (Refundable deposit amounts) in
case of cylinders returned by the Customers via Floor Stock or SV.
Gain Loss of Gas: Capturing Gain/Loss at various transaction levels like Sales,
Purchases and Transfers.
Reconciliation: Customer, Supplier & Stock Reconciliation is at a click of a button.
Credit Control is an excellent feature of Tally. Once the Customer exceeds his credit
limit order processing is stopped automatically.
Gas Tracking: tracking Tanker movements from Third Party locations (Suppliers)
where Tally is not installed. Useful for calculating the Stock in transit, Stock on
wheels and Stock at plants.
Provisioning Transportation cost at the time of Goods Receipt: We have a major
share in expenses as primary transportation cost; these expenses are automatically
captured while receiving the material in TALLY, thus arriving a liability on the
transportation cost.
Bill tracking: Transporters bills are tracked via transaction-wise which is either
related to a Bulk Sales transaction, Transfer in transaction or a Grin gas transaction.
Good control over duplicate bills.
Stop Gas: A Customer can be held for order processing if he is put to stop gas status.
Other Financial transactions can be performed.
Process of Tour, Reconciliation and Invoicing:
Various stages of Sales and Purchase Cycles: Open Sales Orders, Goods delivered
but bills not made (Sales), Open Purchase Orders, Good received but bills not
received, Bills received but Payment not made (Purchase)
