Annual Calibration and Factory Refresh
ISO 9001 standards compliance requires annual unit calibration. Gold support
includes one calibration and factory refresh per year at no charge. When you
schedule your calibration you will receive a loaner unit while your OptiFiber main-
frame and OTDR ber modules are performance veried and precisely calibrated us-
ing the full battery of proprietary Fluke Networks test procedures, adjusted/repaired
as necessary with genuine repair parts, software and frmware updates applied,
all accessories tested and replaced if defective, then cleaned and performance
verifed. The normal charge for a standalone standard calibration for a ber
module is $450.
Accessory Replacement
Some accessories are essential to testing and certifying fber cables. If any standard
accessory that came with your OptiFiber or OTDR fber module is qualifed as defec-
tive or faulty by our technical assistance center, it will be replaced free of charge.
Covered accessories include:
Batteries MMC reader Launch Leads (1 Launch Lead per year)
Chargers Cables Carrying cases 200x/400x Inspection Camera (1 per year)

If your OptiFiber mainframe or OTDR fber modules need repair, it will be done free-of-charge. Fluke Networks, will also ship
you a loaner unit to use, free-of-charge. Use this loaner unit until your own OptiFiber or OTDR fber modules are returned. While
repair is unlikely, Gold could save you $1096 the cost of a typical repair and $1,110 for OptiFiber and OTDR ber modules weekly
rental.
