Utilisation conforme
Cet appareil vous permet de connecter trois appareils source (par
ex. un rcepteur satellite, un lecteur Blu-ray ou une camra HD) avec
un port HDMI de votre tlviseur ou de votre vido-projecteur. Avec
l'appareil, il n'est pas possible de rpartir un appareil source sur trois
appareils de sortie, tant donn que seul un priphrique de sortie
peut tre raccord. Cet appareil est exclusivement destin l'usage
non commercial. Toute utilisation autre ou dpassant ce cadre est
considre comme non conforme. Aucune rclamation pour des
dommages rsultant d'un usage non conforme ne sera prise en
considration. Seul l'utilisateur assume le risque.

Ce chapitre contient des consignes de scurit importantes se rap-
portant la manipulation de l'appareil. Cet appareil est conforme
aux consignes de scurit prescrites. Tout usage non conforme peut
entraner des dommages personnels et matriels.

garantir une utilisation en toute scurit de l'appareil :
Avant l'usage de l'appareil, vriez si celui-ci ne comporte aucun
dommage extrieur visible. Ne mettez pas en service un appareil
endommag ou qui a chut.
En cas de dommages sur les cbles ou les raccordements, faites-les
remplacer par le service aprs-vente.
Saisissez toujours le cble de raccordement au niveau de la che.
Ne tirez pas sur le cble en tant que tel et ne saisissez jamais le
cble de raccordement avec des mains mouilles, dans la mesure
o ceci peut entraner un court-circuit ou un choc lectrique.
Ne posez pas d'objets, de meubles ou assimils sur le cble de
raccordement et veillez ce qu'il ne soit pas coinc.

Ne faites jamais de nud sur le cble de raccordement et ne le
liez jamais avec d'autres cordons. Le cble de raccordement doit
tre plac de manire viter que quelqu'un marche dessus.

(y compris des enfants) dont les capacits physiques, sensorielles
ou mentales prsentent des dciences ou de personnes dnues
d'exprience ou de connaissances sauf si elles sont surveilles par
une personne responsable de leur scurit ou si elles ont reu des
instructions concernant l'utilisation de l'appareil de cette personne.
Les enfants doivent tre surveills an d'viter qu'ils ne jouent
avec l'appareil.
Conez les rparations de l'appareil exclusivement des entreprises
agres ou au service aprs-vente. Toute rparation non conforme
peut entraner des risques considrables pour l'utilisateur. cela
s'ajoute l'annulation de la garantie.
Toute rparation de l'appareil pendant la priode de garantie
doit tre cone exclusivement un service aprs-vente agr
par le fabricant, sinon tout dommage ultrieur n'est pas couvert
par la garantie.
Les pices dfectueuses doivent tre remplaces imprativement par
des pices de rechange d'origine. Seules ces pices garantissent
en eet que les critres de scurit sont satisfaits.
Ne procdez pas des transformations ou des modications sur
l'appareil de votre propre initiative.
N'utilisez pas l'appareil proximit de ammes ouvertes.
Protgez l'appareil de l'humidit et de la pntration de liquides.
Ne posez pas de rcipients pleins de liquides ct de l'appareil,
comme des vases par exemple.

limination de l'emballage
L'emballage protge l'appareil de tous dommages ventuels au
cours du transport. Les matriaux d'emballage ont t slectionns
selon des critres de respect de l'environnement et de recyclage
permettant une limination cologique de ceux-ci.
Le retour de l'emballage dans le cycle des matriaux permet
d'conomiser les matires premires et rduit la formation
de dchets. Veuillez liminer les matriaux d'emballage
qui ne servent plus selon la rglementation locale.

Exigences au lieu d'installation
Pour assurer l'opration sre et sans dfaillances de l'appareil, le lieu
d'installation doit rpondre aux conditions suivantes :
L'appareil doit tre install sur une surface solide, plate et horizontale.
Ne pas installer l'appareil dans un environnement chaud, humide
ou proximit de matriaux inammables.
Installez l'appareil de telle manire qu'il ne soit pas directement
expos aux rayons du soleil.
Ne placez pas l'appareil proximit immdiate de champs
magntiques (tels que haut-parleurs).

Utilisation et fonctionnement
Ce chapitre contient des remarques importantes sur l'utilisation et le
fonctionnement de l'appareil.
Raccorder le commutateur HDMI
Connectez le cble de raccordement HDMI votre pri-
phrique de sortie (par ex. tlviseur ou vido-projecteur).
Connectez vos appareils source (par ex. rcepteur satellite,
lecteur DVD ou console de jeu) aux prises d'entre HDMI 4 .
Utilisez un cble de raccordement HDMI High Speed pour
recevoir une qualit optimale d'image et de son.
REMARQUE
Si vous raccordez un appareil source avec des contenus 3D
(par ex. lecteur Blu-ray) au commutateur HDMI, utilisez exclusive-
ment un cble de raccordement HDMI High Speed.

Utiliser le commutateur HDMI
Allumez votre priphrique de sortie (par ex. tlviseur ou
vido-projecteur) et activez l'entre HDMI laquelle le com-
mutateur HDMI est raccord. Respectez ce sujet la notice
d'utilisation du priphrique de sortie.
Allumez l'appareil source que vous souhaitez utiliser. Le commu-
tateur HDMI bascule prsent automatiquement sur le canal
correspondant. Le canal rgl (1, 2 ou 3) est a ch par la
LED du canal

correspondante.
Appuyez sur le bouton SELECT

pour slectionner un canal
manuellement. chaque fois que vous appuyez sur le bouton
SELECT, le canal passe l'appareil source allum suivant dans
l'ordre dcroissant.
REMARQUE
Si un appareil source est teint, le commutateur HDMI passe
automatiquement l'appareil source allum suivant dans
l'ordre dcroissant

Quelques appareils source mettent galement un signal
en mode veille sur la sortie HDMI. Par consquent, il peut
arriver que la commutation automatique ne soit pas toujours
eectue. Dans ce cas, changez le canal manuellement.

Dieses Gert ermglicht es Ihnen, drei Quellgerte (z.B. SAT-Receiver,
Blu-ray-Player oder HD-Kamera) mit einem HDMI-Anschluss Ihres
Fernsehers bzw. Beamers zu verbinden. Mit dem Gert ist es nicht
mglich, ein Quellgert auf drei Ausgabegerte zu verteilen, da nur
ein Ausgabegert angeschlossen werden kann. Dieses Gert ist
ausschlielich fr den nicht gewerblichen Gebrauch vorgesehen.
Eine andere oder darber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht
bestimmungsgem. Ansprche jeglicher Art wegen Schden aus
nicht bestimmungsgemer Verwendung sind ausgeschlossen. Das
Risiko trgt allein der Benutzer.
Sicherheit
In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Sicherheitshinweise im Umgang

Beachten Sie fr einen sicheren Umgang mit dem Gert die folgenden
Sicherheitshinweise:
Kontrollieren Sie das Gert vor der Verwendung auf uere
sichtbare Schden. Nehmen Sie ein beschdigtes oder herunter-
gefallenes Gert nicht in Betrieb.
Bei Beschdigung des Kabels oder der Anschlsse lassen Sie es
vom Kundenservice austauschen.
Fassen Sie das Anschlusskabel immer am Stecker an. Ziehen Sie
nicht am Kabel selbst und fassen Sie das Anschlusskabel niemals
mit nassen Hnden an, da dies einen Kurzschluss oder elektri-
schen Schlag verursachen kann.

In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Bedienung und
Betrieb des Gertes.
HDMI-Umschalter anschlieen
Verbinden Sie das HDMI-Anschlusskabel mit Ihrem
Ausgabegert (z.B. Fernseher oder Beamer).
Verbinden Sie Ihre Quellgerte (z.B. SAT-Receiver, DVD-Player
oder Spielekonsole) mit den HDMI-Eingangsbuchsen 4 . Ver-
wenden Sie zum Erhalt einer optimalen Bild- und Tonqualitt ein
High Speed HDMI-Anschlusskabel.
HINWEIS
Wenn Sie ein Quellgert mit 3D-Inhalten (z.B. Blu-ray-Player)
an den HDMI-Umschalter anschlieen, verwenden Sie aus-
schlielich ein High Speed HDMI-Anschlusskabel.

HDMI-Umschalter verwenden
Schalten Sie Ihr Ausgabegert (z.B. Fernseher oder Beamer)
ein und aktivieren Sie den HDMI-Eingang, an welchen der
HDMI-Umschalter angeschlossen ist. Beachten Sie hierzu die
Bedienungsanleitung des Ausgabegertes.
Schalten Sie Ihr Quellgert, welches Sie verwenden mchten,
ein. Der HDMI-Umschalter wechselt nun automatisch auf den
entsprechenden Kanal. Der eingestellte Kanal (1, 2 oder 3)
wird durch die entsprechende Kanal-LED

angezeigt.
Drcken Sie die Taste SELECT

, um einen Kanal manuell aus-
zuwhlen. Bei jedem Druck auf die Taste SELECT wechselt der
Kanal in absteigender Reihenfolge zum nchsten eingeschalte-
tem Quellgert.

Wird ein Quellgert ausgeschaltet, wechselt der HDMI-
Umschalter automatisch in absteigender Reihenfolge zum
nchsten eingeschalteten Quellgert

Manche Quellgerte geben auch im Standby-Betrieb am
HDMI-Ausgang ein Signal aus. Daher kann es vorkommen,

This device allows you to connect three source devices (e.g. SAT
receiver, Blu-ray player or HD camera) with an HDMI connection
of your television or beamer. It is not possible to distribute a source
device to three output devices, since only one output device can be
connected. This device is exclusively intended for non-commercial use.
The device is not intended for any other use or for uses extending
beyond those stated. Claims of any kind for damage arising as a
result of non-intended use are excluded. The user is the sole bearer
of the risk.

Connecting the HDMI changeover switch
Connect the HDMI connection cable to your output device
(e.g. television or beamer).
Connect your source devices (e.g. SAT receiver, DVD player
or games console) to the HDMI input sockets 4 . Use a high-
speed HDMI connection cable to obtain optimum video and
audio quality.
NOTE
If you connect a source device with 3D content (e.g. a
Blu-ray player) to the HDMI changeover switch, always
use a high-speed HDMI connection cable.

Using the HDMI changeover switch
Switch your output device (e.g. television or beamer) on and
activate the HDMI input to which the HDMI changeover switch
is connected. To do this, follow the operating instructions for
the output device.
Switch on the source device that you wish to use. The HDMI
changeover switch automatically changes over to the relevant
channel. The channel that has been selected (1, 2 or 3) is
indicated by the relevant channel LED

Press SELECT

to select a channel manually. Each press of
the SELECT button switches the channel to the next switched-on
source device in descending order.
NOTE
If a source device is switched o, the HDMI changeover
switch automatically switches to the next source device that
is switched on in descending order

Some source devices also output a signal on the HDMI output
when they are in standby. It is therefore possible that the auto-
matic changeover will not always take place. In this case a
manual changeover is required.

Warranty
The warranty provided for this device is 3 years from date of purchase.
This device has been manufactured with care and inspected meticu-
lously prior to delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a
warranty claim, please contact the Customer Service by telephone.
This is the only way to ensure that your goods will be dispatched free
of charge.
NOTE
The warranty covers only claims for material and manufac-
turing defects, not for transport damages, worn parts or for
damage to fragile components, e.g. buttons or batteries.
This device is exclusively intended for private use and not for com-
mercial purposes. The warranty is deemed void if this product has
been subjected to improper or inappropriate handling, abuse or
modications that were not carried out by one of our authorised
service centres.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.
The warranty period is not extended by repairs made under the
warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts. Damage
and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported im-
mediately after unpacking, or no later than two days after the date
of purchase. Repairs made after expiry of the warranty period are
chargeable.
