Abstract:

MY report presents the simulink implementation of an induction
machine using dq0 axis transformations of rotor and stator variables in
the arbitrary referance frame
So for this purpose ,the relevant equations are phase induction motor is
developed and implemented in an easy evidence that the referance
frame theory is indeed an attractive algorithm to demonstrate the
steady-state behavior of the induction machines.

All parameters of the model are derived based on no load tests and
block rotor tests with. Dynamic equations on the d-q axis model with
arbitrary reference frames are used for predicting transient responses of
the three-phase induction motors. The validity of the model is verified
by simulating the starting current due to a group of induction motors
using MATLAB/Simulink compared with measurements.

INDUCTION MOTOR DYNAMIC MODEL
1-d-axis equivalent circuit:

2-q-axis equivalent circuit

The differential equations produced from analysis of the circuits in the
previous 2 Figures are as follows:

where d is the direct axis, q is the quadrature axis, vds is the d-
axis stator voltage, vqs is the q-axis stator voltage, vdr is d-axis
rotor voltage, vqr is q-axis rotor voltage, ids is the d-axis stator
current, iqs is the q-axis stator current, idr is d-axis rotor current,
iqr is q-axis rotor current, Rs is the stator resistance, Rr is the
rotor resistance, e is the angular velocity of the reference
frame, r is the angular velocity of the rotor, and ds , ds, ds,
and ds are flux linkages.

es can be written as: The flux linkag

where Lr is the rotor self inductance, Ls is the stator self
inductance, Lm is the magnetizing inductance, Llr is the rotor
leakage inductance, and Lls is the stator leakage inductance.
The self inductances can be expressed as:

Now we want to write the current equations as follows :

The electromagnetic torque of the machine can be written as:

where P is the number of poles and Te is the electromagnetic
torque. Neglecting mechanical damping, the torque and rotor
speed are related by:

Differential equations written in terms of flux linkages:
