%he soul&s actual tas" during its life on earth is to attain full
'aturit( for at the )eginning of its earthl e*istence its
su)stances are still 'ore or less i''ature. It still has to tac"le
'an instincts which it )rought along fro' its !re+ious
e')odi'ents and will alwas ha+e the o!!ortunit during its
earthl life to 'aster the'( !ro+iding its will is good and directed
towards #e.
,e+ertheless( it is !assing through the satanic real'( which
'eans that it has to wage a constant )attle which lasts as long
as it lives on earth.
%i'e and again it will co'e into contact with s!irituall i''ature
su)stances( which it also consumes in the form of food in
order to "ee! the )od fit( and these su)stances 'ust )e
s!iritualised ) the soul too( that is( it has to tr to )ring
e+erthing into the right order. -ence these s!iritual su)stances
will .oin the )od/ the ser+e the growth and !reser+ation of that
which was gi+en to the soul as an e*ternal co+er( in which the
soul itself should attain full 'aturit. %he s!irits( the su)stances
contained in food( are therefore of service and there) slowl
ascend as well .... irres!ecti+e of whether the co'e fro' the
!lant or ani'al "ingdo' ....
%he nourish'ent needed ) the )od as sustenance is s!iritual
su)stance in the !rocess of 'aturit too( which has achie+ed
+arious degrees of de+elo!'ent .... The body can also
consume something unhealthy, that is, nourishment which
still contains too many immature spiritual substances ....
which then might not only bother the body but also the
soul .... and manifest itself in the form of diseases ....
-owe+er( a strong soul is a)le to !ut these i''ature su)stances
in order )ut it 'ust alread ha+e achie+ed a high degree of
s!iritual 'aturit to )e a)le to e*ert a redee'ing influence on
the still i''ature s!iritual su)stance.
The correct preparation of food can therefore !ro'ote faster
'aturing ) eli'inating +irulent s!iritual su)stances )efore it
co'es into contact with the hu'an )od. For all s!iritual
su)stances still constrained in creation ha+e a low degree of
'aturit )ut the can )e redee'ed faster if the willingl ser+e
the hu'an )eing.
%hen their !ath can )e shortened( which is the case when the
)od su)'its to the soul&s will( when the )od does not !re+ent
a soul&s conscious stri+ing towards attaining !erfection and when
these s!iritual su)stances also su!!ort the soul ) su)ordinating
the'sel+es to the )od and thus let the'sel+es )eco'e
s!iritualised too .... But this only happens if the food the
body consumes is pure, healthy and beneficial for the
bodys continuation.
For once the soul succeeds in 'a"ing the )od co'!liant )
su)'itting itself to the soul&s will( the )od&s s!iritualisation will
soon ta"e !lace( !ro+iding the soul has united itself with the
s!irit within itself .... thus consciousl stri+es towards s!iritual
!erfection .... .
If( howe+er( the soul has no )ond at all with its s!irit then it will
allow itself to )e deter'ined ) its )od .... i.e.( all uns!iritual
su)stances of its e*ternal co+er will strongl !redo'inate and
control the soul/ in that case its thoughts and intentions will
only aim to increase its physical well-being and then a
high intake of food and drink will also prevent its spiritual
development ....
%he )od will consu'e an e*cess of uns!iritual su)stances which
!ull )od and soul down( for then e+erthing of a satanic nature
will !ush itself into the forefront and find no resistance .... thus
endangering higher de+elo!'ent if not !re+enting it altogether.
0nd once again it follows that the prayer for blessing of all
nourishment is the best means to avoid this danger ....

soul if onl ou alwas thin" of #e before you eat your food(

su)stances( )ecause e+erthing !assing through the wor"s of

2our will to attain !erfection on earth is +alued ) #e( and a
prayer for blessing everything you consume alwas !ro+es
our will to #e and I shall alwas co'!l with it. -owe+er( that
which ser+es the 'aintenance and growth of the )od fulfils its
actual tas" .... it is of service .... 0nd in this wa ou 'ust
alwas loo" at the consu'!tion of food ....
%he fact that a certain 'oderation has to )e o)ser+ed( that ou
'ust not 'erel satisf our !hsical cra+ings( s!ea"s for itself(
for then ou will a+oid the danger of our )od )eing harassed
) har'ful s!iritual su)stances ....
You dont need any special clarification as to which foods
are useful and which are detrimental to you( for our will to
li+e in # eternal order will also give you the right feeling in
the choice of your meals .... and each one can )e of use to
ou( .ust as each one can har' ou if ou don&t "ee! to the right
a'ount or if )ase cra+ings incite ou into satisfing the' ....
For ou 'ust "now that onl our free will deter'ines to what
e*tent ou resist the te'!tations of the ad+ersar( of our soul&s
ene'. 0nd he will alwas 'a"e use of e+erthing that can
)eco'e a danger to ou. He will arouse cravings in you( he
will use the )od to influence our soul and !ut it under !ressure
where+er it is !ossi)le for hi'.
-e hi'self is inca!a)le of forcing ou( .ust as he has no direct
influence on the s!iritual su)stance which is still )ound in
'atter/ )ut he can incline our will towards hi' if you accept
the thoughts he transmits to you through cravings and
you comply with them yourselves .... ) either satisfing
these cra+ing or ) )eing careless in the choice as well as the
a'ount of our food or e+en consciousl sin against # order
which ou( howe+er( "now full well and can also o)ser+e with
good will.
-ence in a sense ou contri)ute towards the rede'!tion of
i''ature su)stances within 'atter ) consu'ing the right
a'ount of food and drin"( )ecause the 'aturing !rocess of these
s'all s!iritual !articles in+ol+es their )eing of service( and as
