SECRET WEAPONS!

This module adds rare and sometimes exotic weapons systems, which were used operationally during WW2.
General rules
Limited quantity
Players may equip one plane for every full 100 points of the squadron, with special weapon. player may use only one
type of special weapon in the whole squadron.
High exl!si"e!
!ome special weapons carry huge amount of explosives, and when these are destroyed they may "e dangerous to any
aircraft near it. !hooting down special weapon with this rule creates a dangerous situation for all planes at the same
altitude and within #$. %n addition, roll a &' every time it suffers damage (roll for every damage point lost) * on a result of
a 1, the weapon explodes and is removed from the game.
Glide #!m#
+lide "om" attac,s are resolved at the "eginning of the next shooting phase. The "om" has to released #-.12- "efore
target (front fire arc only). When dropped, place the mar,er near the target as a reminder to resolve the attac,.
Guided $ea!ns
When dropped, guided weapons are radio controlled "y the "om"ardier from the "om"er, which has to slow down and
fly in a straight line when doing so. This represents the fact that all guided weapons have the recoil/ !pecial rule. %n the
case of gliding "om"s, the "om"er has to fly straight (order 1) and may not change its altitude or speed "efore resolving
the attac,, or it must count the target as 0hard1. %f a "om"er is shot down "efore resolving its attac,, it automatically misses.
+uided weapons may "e dropped from medium altitudes only, and hit on a #2 (the hard target rules still apply). 3ach
"om"er may drop only one guided weapon in the shooting phase.

The Eistel was a com"ination of a 9f 108 (of 7w 180) and a Fu.<<, modified to "ecome a flying "om". Gne Eistrel may "e
used "y the Auftwaffe from 18#B.18#4. The Eistel starts the game as a com"ination of a fighter and a Fu.<<, which counts
as a single model. %f the Eistrel is hit, randomly resolve the effectsH 1.# Fu.<<I 4.' fighter. %f either the fighter or the "om"er
is destroyed, the whole Eistel is destroyed and the pilot is ,illed. >oteH damaging the fighter does not limit the
performance of the Eistel, "ut damaging the Fu.<< does.
The planes may separate at the "eginning of any movement phase . put the fighter to the rear of the Fu.<<. When the Fu.<<
is released, it moves only straight forwards (order 1) and descends every turn after moving &'-. When it hits the ground,
resolve the attac, on all ground targets within &B- (measuring "ase."ase as normal) . count it as a "om"ing attac, which
hits on a 42, "ut the hard target rules do not apply.

Gh,a "om"s may "e used "y the %F> or %F! in 18#4 when attac,ing ships. They must "e carried as normal ordnance "y
the +#E 9etty "om"er until released in the shooting phase. When released, they are counted as any other plane. Place an
Gh,a "om" model "ehind the "om"er, at the same altitude and speed. This moves as a glider until the roc,et engine
ignities at the "eginning of any movement phase. When this occurs, the Gh,a increases its speed to 8, "ut it crashes after
this move. Points for G,has are calculated as for a Mami,a5e plane.

!+400 FNgerfaust was a weapon system which was pro"a"ly used once in 18#4 (destroying a Dalifax "om"er). The
K!ondergerNt 400 FNgerfaustK (also often referred to as the Fagdfaust, which could also "e correct) was a radical weapon,
firing heavy, 40mm proOectiles vertically into the lower sides of "om"ers. The system was triggered "y an optical system,
and the pilotKs only tas, was passing underneath the "om"er.
%n 18#4 (only during daylight) up to two Ee.1'B1s may swap their cannons for the !+ 400. This weapon "rea,s the
standard procedure, "ecause it may "e used in the movement phase only, when the Ee.1'B passes a target aircraft at the
same altitude (it counts as a dangerous situation as normal).

it was operationally used only against dams). %t may "e dropped only from a modified Aancaster "om"er (in 18#B), from
lt 1, and hits on a B2. %n addition, the attac, is resolved as for "om"ing a ship (chec, the details of this procedure in the
KWater and 7ireK module).
