1. You must take at least three courses from among the soft core courses. You are welcome to take more of

these courses, and they will count as electives.
2. Out of 15 credits of electives (to be taken during the first two semesters), at least 9 credits must be taken
from our Department.
3. MT 201, 255 and 256 are being added as soft core courses for this semester, even though they are not listed
as such in the Scheme of Instruction.
