PSLV (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle) launch the IRS into the Sun
Synchronous Orbits. PSLV can also launch small satellites into
GTO (Geostationary Transfer orbit). PSLV launched highest
number of satellites at once. This is the highest by any country.
GSLV (Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle) is to launch
INSAT into Geostationary Orbit. This can put the payloads of up
to five tons into the Low Earth Orbit.
The latest launch of GSLV-F06 with the GSAT-5P satellite was
failed on December 25, 2010.
The very latest launch vehicle is GSLV Mark III is under
