(2007) Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP), Department of Molecular Biology and
Genetics, SUNY Downstate Graduate School. A novel approach to finding HIV-1 tat cofactors. Under the
guidance of Camilo Parada, PhD.

(2005-2006) Research on vision and perception at Brooklyn College: Studied the affect of gender on
stereo and veniar acuities. Worked on mapping the perceptual field under the guidance of Isreal Abramov,
PhD.

for high school students. I was a tutor of science, math, SATs, violin, piano. Also led nutrition and woman’s
health workshops.
(2006) Sparks for Life program at New York Methodist Hospital, Brooklyn: organized and performed
in an ensemble to perform for geriatric and Alzheimer patients (music is the last memory to be lost).
(2001-2004) Girl Scouts of Nassau County and Henry Viscardi School: Started a Girl Scout troop at
Henry Viscardi School, a school for children with physical limitations and adapted badges.
