Sub: Letter of Appointment
Dear Mr xxxxxx,
With reference to your application and the subsequent interview you had with us, we are
pleased to appoint you in our organization on the following terms and conditions:
1. DESIGNATION
You shall be designated as Site Supervisor and shall be based at Rishikesh.
2. DATE OF APPOINTMENT
This appointment will take effect from 1
st
February, 2013.
3. REPORTING
You shall report to Mr H.S Madhukar, MD.
4. PROBATION & CONFIRMATION
You will be on probation for a period of six months fromthe date of your joining duty. This
period may, however, be extended at the sole discretion of the Management, in case it is found
that your performance is not satisfactory.
At the end of the six months probation period, the organization may either extend your
probation for three months or you may be considered for confirmation depending upon your
performance during the probation period. You will continue to be on probation until a letter of
confirmation is issued to you in writing.
During the period of probation or the extended period of probation, this appointment can be
terminated by either side by giving 15 days notice or upon payment of gross salary in lieu
thereof.

5. REMUNERATION
Your annual consolidated salary will be Rs. 1,44,000/- (Rupees One lacs forty four thousand
only). This amount shall be subject to statutory deductions if any, applicable as per existing
legal provisions or which may come into existence in future. You shall also be entitled to all
other statutory benefits like Gratuity etc. as per law.
6. TRANSFER
The Management reserves the right to transfer you to any other location, department, branch
of the organization and/or its subsidiaries or associate Companies in the country or outside,
existing or to be opened in future. Upon such transfer, the rules and regulations of service
applicable to your category of personnel at the place of transfer will become applicable to you.
7. MEDICAL FITNESS
This appointment and its continuance is subject to your being found and remaining medically
(Physically and mentally) fit.
8. NOTICE PERIOD AFTER CONFIRMATION
This appointment is terminable by either the organization or yourself by giving clear one
calendarmonth notice or gross salary in lieu thereof, without assigning any reason. The
Management,however, reserves the right to waive this notice period at its sole discretion or
pay the grosssalary in lieu of notice period.
During this notice period it is agreed that you will ensure completion of all pending issues to our
satisfaction so that the handing over from you to the next appointed person is smooth.
9. LEAVE
You will be entitled to leaves as may be applicable to your category of employees as per the
organization rules from time to time.
10. TRAINING
If you are sent for training or overseas project/assignment, you will have to sign a bond for the
period and amount which will be decided by the organization depending on the period of
training, travel and other expenses incurred.

11. CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION
You shall not give out by word of mouth or otherwise any trade secret or any particulars/details
of our marketing aspects, technical know-how, administrative and/or organizational matters,
whether confidential, secret or otherwise, which may come to your knowledge, while in
employment or afterwards.
12. TRAVEL
You shall undertake such travelling as may be required in the interest of the business of the
organization from time to time.
13. OTHER WORK
Your position is a whole time employment with the Company and you shall devote yourself
exclusively to the business of the Company. You will not undertake any other services, work or
public office, honorary or remuneratory except with the written permission of the
Management.
14. RETIREMENT
You will be retired from the services of the organization at the age of 60 years. For the purpose
of calculating the retirement age, the official records of your date of birth with Company will be
treated as final. This may be extended by mutual agreement between you and the
organization.
15. RETURN OF PROPERTY
You will be responsible for safekeeping and return in good condition and other all
organizational property, which may be in your use, custody or charge.
16. PAST RECORD
This appointment and your continuance in services will be subject to the particulars given in
your application being found correct and authentic in all respects.
In case any of the particulars given in the application are found to be false or incorrect or found
to have been concealed at any time during your service with the organization, the same will
render you liable for termination of your services forthwith without giving any notice or salary
in lieu of the notice.


17. GENERAL RULES
You will be required to comply with all other general rules, practices and policies of the
organization as existing now and which may be amended from time to time.
The organization reserves the right to terminate your services on grounds of misconduct,
disloyalty, commission of any act of moral turpitude, or any act of indiscipline, or loss of
confidence.
You will keep the Organization/Company informed of any change in your residential and
permanent addresses.
Please sign copy of this letter indicating your acceptance of the above terms and conditions of
the appointment and return the same to us.
