Timing: Procedure: Sub Aims:
00:00:02:00 Direct the students to look at the title of the sheet. Ask
them what is wrong with it (its spelt wrongly). See if they
can tell you why (its a bad joke on excellent and eggs).
Tell them that they are going to find out about some non-
religious Easter celebrations. Ask them what they know.
Warmer
02:00-10:00 Direct the students to have a look at the wordsearch.
They have been given both written and pictorial clues.
However if they are finding the vocabulary too difficult
you can give them the words in their own language and a
dictionary to search for the translations. Give them some
time to finish and then go through the vocabulary.
Input vocabulary
10:00-20:00 Next the students are going to use the vocabulary to
complete a short text describing Easter and Easter eggs.
Once they have done this, read through it with them.

20:00-30:00 Ask them to read the text again and this time answer the
questions. Go through the answers with the students.

three sounds given. Drill the students on them. Give then
a few minutes to match the words to the sounds and

35:00-40:00 Go through the tongue twister with them. Ask if they
know any others. Have one or two others ready for them.
40:00-45:00 Ask students what they do at Easter. Encourage them to
use the vocabulary studied.
