Labour Councillors aren't seen out and about.

are they when you need their help?

fixed quickly if Councillors help identify problems, but
this doesn't happen in Burnt Oak. Why?
A leading Labour Councillor in West Hendon has now
joined the Conservatives because Labour has no ideas
and cannot help local people.

Hale Ward

HALE CONSERVATIVES WORKING FOR YOU

We have all worked together to improve the local area and have
campaigned on local issues supported by you. As your local
Conservative Councillors we are proud to have achieved some
great results for you in Hale:
We fought a successful campaign to prevent the
Avanti school locating to The Fairway, and Broadfields.
We brought Lyndhurst Park back into use with new
entrances, new pathways, and football posts.
We lobbied effectively for road resurfacing and pavement
repair in our area, most recently: Hale Drive, Sefton Avenue,
Lyndhurst Avenue.
We have involved ourselves with local schools and
worked closely with governing bodies to help maintain high
standards.
We have worked tirelessly to improve facilities at
Scratchwood Open Space, including a new cafeteria.

YOUR LOCAL LABOUR

COUNCILLOR JOINS
CONSERVATIVES

One of your West Hendon Councillors has joined the

Conservative Party after 20 years of Labour Party
membership.
Cllr Ansuya Sodha said she felt the Labour Party had changed
for the worse and that it had no credible ideas of its own.
Cllr Sodha made the following statement, After a period of
long deliberation, soul searching and sadness, I have come to
the conclusion that it is time for me to part company with
Labour.
It is no longer the party of equality and justice especially when
it comes to the Asian, Indian community.
I am looking forward to working with our Conservative Council
to bring even more improvements to West Hendon.
