This concert, on Sunday, November 22nd at 6:00 pm, will be the
“Finale” concert for Nazz Jazz and Jerry Nelson prior to his Tina Hayhurst
embarking into full-time concert ministry. Bring your friends and Student Ministries Pastor
hear Nazz Jazz in full stride as you’ve never heard them before.

Tennyson Center Ministry

We are returning to the Tennyson Center on Sunday, December
6th. We will be sharing Christmas traditions with the children, as
well as a puppet show for worship. Meet in the Breezeway at
1:15 pm on the 6th or call Jon Tinniswood at 720/273-0028 for
more info.

I recently read a book by Promise Keepers founder Bill McCartney
entitled Two Minute Warning. The book’s subject is about the
importance of the Jewish nation and our role as the church to
encourage and help them to come to Christ in these last days. In
the book, he chronicles the silence of the church and even the
rejection of the Jewish people through the centuries, especially
during Hitler’s reign of terror and the extermination of millions of
Jews. I was appalled by how many “good Christians” looked the
other way and, in many cases, were complicit in helping Hitler and
his army destroy so many lives!
The enemy wants us to hide the light! What God has birthed in you
by His Holy Spirit is powerful. The only thing that can stop this
powerful Spirit in you is you! Today, as we hear the words of
Jesus, we are encouraged to come out and let our light shine. It’s
much more than having a DFC bumper sticker (though if you have
one I am glad!) it’s about living a real authentic life of power and
love in this dark world.
Our world needs His light more than ever! We are speeding
towards the day of His return. We should be in full court press in
evangelizing our communities, our city and our world! Will you
allow the Holy Spirit today to challenge you to shine His light
through you? As always it’s our choice. Will we choose to
“Illuminate His light?”

Single’s Christmas Party

in the Aspen Room at Alameda & Center St. in Denver. Sign up in the

The DOGs Say Thanks
The 5th and 6th grade girls would like to say a thank you to all that
loaned their sewing machines and donated their jelly jars for the DOGs
service projects.

Dear Members and Friends of DFC, Thank you for the wonderful time
spent with you, for letting us share in your lives. You are a gracious,
accepting, friendly people. Thank you for cards & gifts from you
individually and as a church. You were certainly gracious to us. We
will look back on these 8 months as a special blessing from God. We
can’t wait to see what God is going to do in your church. We feel
confident you have chosen great leaders in Pastor Shawn & Sherri. In

you showered me with during my recent surgery. A special thanks to
