Endorse and Review outcome of the survey (site visit) and technical feasibility.
Reviews the project execution plan and work method statement before approval by
the M.D.
Endorse and Review passage of all necessary documents to the user departments e.g.
the work method statement, the work schedule, the work break-down structure.
Review the resources mobilization checklist and approve as appropriate.
Endorse all documents needed from initiation of the project by the project engineer
at the project site, e.g. scope statement with its diagram, the daily work diary, weekly
man hour report, the daily attendance register, site material requisition, a copy of for
each activity or process to be carried out and work instructions register e.t.c.
Proffer immediate solution to all reported challenges that are beyond the capabilities
of the SPE, PE and other site personnel.
Present project performance report of all sites: - showing planned activities
(budgeted time and cost, over-run, Quality and other issues, labour, equipment
damage, material.) against the actual and explaining why the disparity and its impact
on the % gross profit.

































Conduct site inspection at each project location at least three times in a week to
ensure our internal procedures, clients scope have not derailed and processes, tests
are carried out according to international standards.
Approve all project requisitions be it from the site or Head office.
Document the additional job and job change form, carries the Commercial Manager
along and reports to the MD.
Co-ordinate the problem solving sessions for all clients complaints, quality non-
conformances and keeps the documents.
Head the committee for correction and the corrective actions.
Initiate action on recommendations of the Root Cause Analysis.
Endorse all as-built diagrams, AFC, all transmittal and ensures they sent to client
and necessary copies kept.
Sign off close-out reports and all other relevant correspondences are written and
dispatched accordingly

Assist all project engineers in charge to carry out proper survey, determine the
technical feasibility of all projects and eventual scoping with its attendant
documentation and documents.
Draw and documents a project execution plan and work method statement which is
reviewed by the Project Manager and approved by the M.D.
Review and document the work breakdown structure, work schedule and the budget
drawn by the project engineer and forwards to the PM, CM and/or M.D. as the case
may be for approval.
Ensure that all necessary documents are passed to the user departments e.g. the work
method statement, the work schedule, the work break-down structure.
Issue a checklist to ensure that adequate, approved, functional, reliable and right

































machines (equipment and tools), materials and men are mobilized for that particular
project.
Ensure that all documents needed from inception of the project by the project
engineer at the project site are issued e.g. scope statement with its diagram, the daily
work diary, weekly man hour report, the daily attendance register, site material
requisition, a copy of procedure for each activity or process to be carried out and
work instructions register e.t.c.
Proffer immediate solution to all site challenges reported by the project engineer and
document them. He escalates those he cannot solve to the PM and/or the MD
immediately.
Write a weekly report to the PM and copies the M.D. on the weekly actual usage of
materials, men and work done in comparison with the planned, with respect to the
work schedule, the difference and the reasons for it.
Track project performance of all sites:-the actual project time, project cost, cost over-
runs, all sources of down- time and computes it with respect to the work schedule
and budget.

project engineer, foremen and supervisors.
Assist in proffering solution to all clients complaints, quality non-conformances and
