This course is ideal for HR professionals, recruiters, training and management
development specialists who wish to use ability tests and personality questionnaires
to help in the selection, management and development of employees. It is a required
course for those looking to become BPS certied Test Users.

Overview
Psychometric testing is widely recognised as one of the most effective ways to
ensure the right individuals are matched to the right job. This time-efcient course
uses a blend of e-learning and face-to-face training to enable eligibility for BPS Level
2 registration.
At the end of the course, delegates will be able to condently:
Evaluate and select appropriate ability tests for use in their organisation
Administer, score, interpret and feedback ability tests
Administer, interpret and feedback OPQ32 personality assessments
Understand how to apply OPQ in selection, development and team building
Link OPQ to the competencies key to business success

making.

Course content
Psychometric assessments bring greater objectivity and transparency to any
recruitment or development process. This course provides full training in how to
evaluate and select, interpret and feedback ability tests and personality questionnaires.
We provide comprehensive training in the theory and practical application of the
Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ) and the Motivation Questionnaire (MQ).
Selection, development, leadership identication and team building are all covered in
the many practical case studies.
The course includes 8-10 hours e-learning and 3 days classroom based learning. An additional
1 day follow-up workshop required to receive the Level B certication from the BPS.
The course uses a combination of individual and group practical exercises as well as
formally assessed elements. This ensures delegates are given a strong theoretical
grounding in psychometric testing and the practical skills to condently use assessment
in the workplace.
