Supplies:
Imaginisce “When’s Recess” Patterned Papers,
Chipboard Stickers, Ribbon, and Epoxy
Brads
Bazzill Basics Chipboard Sheets, with Eggshell, Yellow,
and Watermelon Cardstock
Glue Arts Glue Glider Pro –High Tac Crtridge
Zutter Silver, 3/4” Binding Coil
Cory’s Stash Tiny Silver Beads, Black Marker, Red
Chalk, and Library Pocket.
Instructions:
Making the Pencil:
1. Cut 1 piece of chipboard to 4x6 for pencil. Using scissors, make a
tip at one end and round corners on other.
2. Using your Purple Cows, 1040 2 in 1 Combo Trimmer, trim yellow
cardstock to fit pencil. Use Purple Cows #2806 pinking blade to
create edge (as shown). Adhere with High Tac glue.
3. Color tip of the pencil with black marker, and draw lines down the
pencil to imitate the pencil ridges.
4. Cut to size the watermelon paper at the top for the eraser.

5. Run the Glue Arts High Tac Glue Glider Pro and attach the tiny sil-
ver beads for the metal part of the pencil.

ribbon.
Making the book:
1. Cut two pieces of chipboard, and 4 pieces of Bazzill Eggshell Paper 2

to 4x6 with Purple Cows Guillotine cutter. adhere paper to

chipboard.
2. Use colored pencils to draw notebook line, and marker for eyes
and mouth with marker (on front cover). Use red chalk to color
cheeks.
3. For the inside front page, trim piece of “Wipe It Up!” to 4x6, and
add ribbons as shown. Add “Chip Sticker School Memories” on top
of library pocket, and on bottom of page add chip sticker as shown.
4. Next page of book trim two pieces of “Number Cruncher” to 4x6 and
adhere brads then glue down. Glue ribbon as shown, and trim “Wipe It
Up” to 3 1/4” by 4” and glue down. Add a strip underneath it with
1 ½” piece of “When’s Recess”. Apply “Chip Sticker Apples” on bottom
right corner.
5. For the third page, trim “Welcome to Room 10” paper into two pieces
of 4”x6”, then adhere one piece to the back of the last page, cut 3”x4”
strip of (back side) of “Welcome to Room 10”. Glue this piece to the
bottom of the page, apply “Chip Sticker Notebook Character” to the
right corner as shown.
6. On the last page, trim two pieces of “Wipe It Up” to 4”x6” and glue to
book, apply “Book Worm Chip Sticker”.
7. Punch all of the pages with the Zutter Bind It All, and then bind.
8. Attach “Pencil”, and you’re finished!
