Functional Familiarity

Abacus eTAT is functionally similar to BSP ET, with the same
ET functionalities and documents generated, so agents and
airlines can pick up eTAT more easily

Abacus eTAT interfaces with all existing ticketing and fares
functions, including IUR, net ticketing, revalidation, refunds,
exchanges, audit trail, etc.

The print routine for Abacus eTAT will follow the BSP ET
print routine currently used

Abacus eTAT supports the generic IATA 722 format

Where necessary, Abacus will provide training on
Abacus eTAT to airlines authorised agents
Faster Reporting
Airlines will receive daily Sales Reporting File data and
Ticket Inventory data for their ofine processing


Transactions are captured to the Sales Reporting File in HOT
reporting format, facilitating easier backend processing
Ticket Limit Control

Agents will be limited to the ticket issuance limit set
by the airline
The ticket count will decrease consequently at
ticket issuance and exchanges
No reinstatement of the count if a void transaction
takes place

Airlines will provide the ticket limit applicable for each agent
Airlines can increase agents ticket limit at any time to increase
sales opportunities, or decrease the ticket limit to minimise
fraud or nancial risk
