1. DO THE ANIMATION FOR OBJECTS.
AIM: Animation for the object using SHAPE TWEEN.
Software required: MACROMEDIA FLASH MX.
Editor: Flash editor
Steps followed:
1.Open a new document in the flash editor.
2.In the timeline bar select the frame number1.
3. Chooseone of the objects from the toolbar;
draw the object on the document window.
4. Select
any other key frame number in the
timeline bar by pressing functional key F6.
5. Dragthe object from existing place to
somewhere and change the shape and color of
the object for observation.
6. Select
the first frame, and in the properties
bar-give the tween option as shape.
7. Tosee the preview press ENTER. (OR) to see
full screen press ctrl+ Enter.

Output: In this animation output you are


going to observe the way of object changing
from source to destination.

AIM: Animation for the object using MOTION


TWEEN.
Software required: MACROMEDIA FLASH MX.
Editor: Flash editor
Steps followed:
1.Open a new document in the flash editor.
2.In the timeline bar select the frame number1.
3.Choose one of the objects from the toolbar;
draw the object on the document window.
4.Select any other frame number in the timeline
bar by pressing functional key F6.
5.Drag the object from existing place to
somewhere and change the shape and color of
the object for observation.
6. Select
the first frame, and in the properties
bar-give the tween option as motion.
7. Tosee the preview press ENTER. (OR) to see
full screen press ctrl+ Enter.

Output: In this animation output you are


going to observe the direct change of object
from source to destination.
2. DO THE ANIMATION FOR TEXT BREAKING AND
ADDING.
AIM: Animation for text breaking and adding.
Software required: MACROMEDIA FLASH MX.
Editor: Flash editor
Steps followed:
1.Open a new document in the flash editor.
2. Take
any text for the first frame in layer one
and break the text using Ctrl + B + B.
3. Select
half of the text using arrow tool and cut
selected text using Ctrl +X, paste the text in
second layer using Ctrl + Shift +V.
4.Select key frame and apply motion for two
layers.
5. After
that select layer1 move the text to
anyone of the direction and on same manner
move the second text.
6. Tosee the preview press ENTER. (OR) to see
full screen press ctrl + Enter.
Output: In this animation output you are
going to observe the text breaking and
adding.

3. DRAW A CIRCLE.
AIM: Animation for drawing a circle.
Software required: MACROMEDIA FLASH MX.
Editor: Flash editor
Steps followed:
1.Open a new document in the flash editor.
2. Goto tools and select oval tool, with the help
of the tool we can draw the circle.

4. DRAW A RECTANGLE.
AIM: Animation for drawing a rectangle.
Software required: MACROMEDIA FLASH MX.
Editor: Flash editor
Steps followed:
1. Open a new document in the flash editor.
2. Goto tools and select the rectangle tool, with
the help of this tool we can draw the
rectangle.

5. APPLYING GUIDE LAYER TO MOVE OBJECT IN THE


SPECIFIED PATH.
AIM: Animation for applying guide layer to move
objet in the specified direction.
Software required: MACROMEDIA FLASH MX.
Editor: Flash editor
Steps followed:
1.Open a new document in the flash editor.
2.In layer one for the first frame select an object
and select final frame by inserting key frame
(F6).
3. Drag the object to the destination frame.
4. Select guide layer, go to frame1 & select pencil
tool.
5. Create
Motion Tween for the first & last frames
and for guide layer too.
6.With the help of pencil tool draw the path for
the object which is to be moved to the
destination frame.
7. Make sure that the object lies at the end of the
path.
8. Tosee the preview press ENTER. (OR) to see
full screen press ctrl + Enter.

Output: In this animation output you are


going to observe
moving of object in the specified path.
6. APPLYING MASK FOR THE PICTURE
AIM: Animation for applying mask for the picture.
Software required: MACROMEDIA FLASH MX.
Editor: Flash editor
Steps followed:
1.Open a new document in the flash editor.
2. Goto file menu and select the option import to
library.
3.Select any one of the picture double click on
that.
4.To open the library press “F11”.
5.After opening library you will have your
selected image drag that image into the
document.
6. Inthe timeline bar select any frame and make
it constant by pressing “F5”.
7. Take the 2ndlayer and in that layer take any
tool from the toolbar and place it on the
image. After that select key frame exactly
“F5” in layer1. Give motion tween for the 1st
and last frame.
8. Afterthat apply free transform tool for the
object which is in layer2 and increase the size
of the object by dragging the mouse and then
right click on layer2 & select “mask” option.
9. Tosee the preview press ENTER. (OR) to see
full screen press ctrl + Enter.

Output: In this animation output you are


going to observe masking of a picture.
7. APPLYING MASK FOR THE TEXT IN BOTH
DIRECTIONS.
AIM: Animation for text masking in both directions.
Software required: MACROMEDIA FLASH MX.
Editor: Flash editor
Steps followed:
1.Open a new document in the flash editor.
2.Take any text for the first layer & insert key
frame at any frame
3. Takesecond layer & goto layer1 for the first
frame give right click select copy frames
option & then goto layer2 for the first frame
again give right click & select paste frames
option.
4.Change the color of the text by selecting color
with the mouse.
5.Take third layer for the first frame take any
object i.e., circle or rectangle small in size.
6.Now apply free transform tool & give key
frame exactly at the end of the first & second
layer.
7.Move the third layer object over the text.
8.For the first frame & last frame apply create
motion tween.
9. On the third layer give right click & select
mask option.
10. To see the preview press ENTER. (OR) to see
full screen press ctrl + Enter.

Output: In this animation output you are


going to observe the masking of text.
8. DO THE SCRIPTING ANIMATION FOR COLOR
CYCLING.
AIM: Animation for COLOR CYCLING.
Software required: MACROMEDIA FLASH MX.
Editor: Flash editor
Steps followed:
1.Open a new document in the flash editor.
2. Go to insert menu and select new symbol
option in that again select movie clip button
then press OK.
3.Take any object at frame one of layer1, give
next frame and change the color of the object
likewise give five more frames by changing
the color at each and every frame.
4.Now goto scene1.
5. Open the library using the key F11 and drag
the object on to the stage.
6.For the second frame give F5.
7.Using arrow tool select the object.
8.In the properties bar give the movie clip
instance name as “a”.
9. Then goto timeline bar select the frame and
constant frame give right click select
“actions” option
Actions -> Movie clip ctrl -> Duplicate movie
clip (double click) Target = a
New name = a select the checkbox here.
Depth = b
10. Again actions -> movie clip ctrl -> set property
(double click)
property = rotation
Target = a
Value = b select the checkbox here.
11. Actions -> movie clip ctrl -> variables
(double click) ->
Set variable
Target = b
Value = b+10 select the checkbox
here.
12. To see the preview press ENTER. (OR) to see
full screen press ctrl + Enter

going to observe the color cycling.
9. CREATING BUTTONS FOR CHANGING THE TEXT
COLOR.
AIM: Animation for changing the text color.
Software required: MACROMEDIA FLASH MX.
Editor: Flash editor
Steps followed:
1.Open a new document in the flash editor.
2. Goto the insert menu then select new symbol
in which click on button.
3.Select the text and give the over frame after
that change the color.
4. Goto scene1, open library by pressing F11 and
drag the button on to the stage.
5.To see the preview press ENTER. (OR) to see
full screen press ctrl+ Enter.

Output: In this animation output you are


going to observe changing of text color
when the mouse is on button.

10. APPLYING BUTTONS ON ANIMATION.


AIM: Animation for applying buttons on animation.
Software required: MACROMEDIA FLASH MX.
Editor: Flash editor
Steps followed:
1.Open a new document in the flash editor.
2.Take any object for the first frame in layer1
and select the key frame also with the help of
F6.
3. Drag the object from source to destination,
press ENTER to see preview.
4. Go to insert menu select new symbol as button
and press OK. Write the button name as
“play” and select the key frames up, down,
over, hit.
5.Again do the same for another button name as
“stop”.
6. Go to scene1, take layer2 and open library by
pressing F11.
7.Select play button right click on that select
actions -> movie ctrl -> play (double click).
8. Select play button right click on that select
actions -> movie ctrl -> stop (double click).
9.To see the preview press ENTER. (OR) to see
full screen press ctrl+ Enter.
Output: In this animation output you are
going to observe moving of object according
to the button press.
11. DO THE ANIMATION BY CREATING TEXT FIELD.
AIM: Animation for calculating degree of object by
moving object using key board (mouse degrees).
Software required: MACROMEDIA FLASH MX.
Editor: Flash editor
Steps followed:
1.Open a new document in the flash editor.
2.Take movie clip and draw any object.
3. Goto scene1, open library by pressing F11 and
drag the object on to the stage.
4.Give movie clip instance name as “a”.
5.Take a button, open library by pressing F11
and drag the object on to the stage.
6. Press
Alt + mouse drag. Do this three times, all
together these are four buttons.
7. Take
a text field and select the text tool and
keep the property as input text. Give variable
name as “result”.
8.Repeat the above step (step 7) for text field Y
and give variable name as “result1”.
9. Go to near key frame & right click on Actions
-> variables -> set variables (double click)
variable = result
value = int(getproperty(”a”,_x))
10. Again set variables (double click)

11. Right click on up button & click on actions
-> movie crtl -> on(double click), select key
press -> value = down
12. Go to movie clip ctrl -> set property (double

actions -> movie crtl -> on(double click), select

going to observe mouse coordinates of x and y
axis in the text field by moving the object.

12. DO SCRIPTING ANIMATION FOR MOUSE HIDING.


AIM: Animation for MOUSE HIDING.
Software required: MACROMEDIA FLASH MX.
Editor: Flash editor
Steps followed:
1.Open a new document in the flash editor.
2.Take a movie clip and do any animation.
3. Goto scene1, open library drag the object on
to the stage
4.Give movie clip instance name as “a”.
5. Selectthe object right click on that go to
actions -> movie clip ctrl -> start drag (double
click)
target = a , click on expression and lock on
mouse too.
6. Go
to actions -> objects -> movie -> mouse ->
methods -> hide(double click).
7.To see the preview press ENTER. (OR) to see
full screen press ctrl+ Enter.

Output: In this animation output you are going


to observe mouse hiding by the specified object in
the animation.

13. DO ANIMATION FOR ZOOM IN AND ZOOM OUT


OF THE PICTURE.
AIM: Animation for zoom in and zoom out of the
picture.
Software required: MACROMEDIA FLASH MX.
Editor: Flash editor
Steps followed:
1.Open a new document in the flash editor.
2.Select insert menu and click on new symbol
option select movie clip then press OK.
3. Takean image by importing the image from
any source and go to scene1, open library by
pressing F11 and drag the object on to the
stage.
4. Select
the image, give movie clip instance
name as “a”, resize the image according to
your wish.
5. Taketwo buttons, give the names as ZOOM IN
and ZOOM OUT and drag the two buttons on to
the stage.
6.Now, right click on ZOOM IN button select
actions -> moviectrl->
on (double click) and select the release option.
7. Goto objects -> movie -> -root (double click)
a._xscale+=10,
again -root (double click)
a._yscale+=10.
8. Now,right click on ZOOM OUT button select
actions -> moviectrl-> on (double click) and
select the release option.
9. Goto objects -> movie -> -root (double click)
a._xscale-=10,
again -root (double click)
a._yscale-=10.
10. To see the preview press ENTER. (OR) to
see full screen press ctrl+ Enter.

going to observe ZOOM IN and ZOOM OUT of
the picture by pressing the given buttons.
16. Do animation for Fire-effect.
AIM: Animation for Fire-effect.
Software required: MACROMEDIA FLASH MX.
Editor: Flash editor
Steps followed:
1.Open a new document in the flash editor.
2. Take
a movie clip (go to insert menu->new
symbol->movie clip) and do any animation.
3.Go to scene1, open library (F11) drag the
movie clip on to the stage.
4.Give movie clip name as 1(one).go to
keyframe,right click
Actions->conditions/loops->
For (int i=1 condition: i<=50 next+
