A Direct Path Where is my Stop?

Start: Grandmas Home - Concord, U.S.
My home is my grandmas house because it is the place where I go to get a sense of relaxation and
forget whatever problems I had in Los Angeles, and be able to watch television and enjoy my family
much more, as I am not able to see them often because of a 6 hour drive.
Final destination: University of La Verne - La Verne, U.S.
I want to make my parents proud and myself proud by using the skills I've learned at Da Vinci to help
when I go to college at La Verne, I want to use these skills I've gained: such as learning to organize and
take on different things at once, learning to work as a team, and also going to office hours all helped me
in pursuing my goals and my dream of wanting to go into either Law Enforcement Administration or
Film/Video & Photographic Arts.

My Journey Begins What Shaped Me?
A. Mountain View Elementary School:
Mountain View Elementary school was a positive experience for me, it was my first school and I
remember it as a very fun environment with child hood friends and little worries of the future. You can
see how this impacts my life positively in the direction and magnitude because of how I was able to
communicate with people and enjoy life.

B. My Cousins House (Scalar):
Much like my experience with Mountain View Elementary, my cousins house was also a positive
experience but with a much bigger impact. My cousins helped shape a lot of who I am and helped me
understand not to be cruel to others and enjoy company. They really taught me to behave, relax, and
have fun with friends and family. They play a very huge role in the way I act in life, with how I try to
make life as fun as possible for not only me but also for others. It shows why it has 3 times the impact to
reaching my goal in my direction and magnitude due to the fact that it helped shape who I am and also
to enjoy life to the fullest with others.

C. Moving into Los Angeles (Laws of Cosine):
Moving into Los Angeles was a negative experience for me; I had moved to a new location and left
everything behind, my child hood friends, my school that I enjoyed, and also my cousins that I now
rarely get to see. This event impacted me negatively on both the magnitude and direction because I had
no friends that grew up with me or the fact that I would be living in such a loud, busy environment with
new people I had never seen before. It really hurt me because this pressure made it hard for me to focus.

Juan De Anza was another negative experience as well; going into this new school with students I had
never met or talked to made it hard for me to fit in. I came in very late in the school year and did not
take education seriously. It negatively impacted my magnitude and direction because of how I wasnt
able to make any friends and improve my confidence and the fact that it made it harder for me to fit in
made it harder for me to focus in school and gain valuable education and therefore steering me to the
opposite direction.

E. Dana Middle School:
Dana Middle School started to become a positive experience because here I started to develop more
friends and gaining the confidence I needed to help me focus better in school. I wasnt as shy as before
and was able to express who I was without worry. It helped shift me to the right direction because I was
able to gain friends and start taking education seriously and doing better in all my classes. It started to
shape me to the person I am today both on my work ethics and the way I speak and act. It helped steer
me back into the final direction once again.

F. My Trip to Japan (Scalar):
My trip to Japan helped finish up the final touches on who I was. In the trip to Japan I was able to have

G. Da Vinci Science:
Da Vinci Science was positive all around and helped me find what I wanted to truly do in my life in the
future. Da Vinci Science was the place where all the things I had learned from my positive experiences
with my cousins, trips to Japan, Mountain View elementary school and also the negative experiences
such as moving to a new location and Juan De Anza. I used all my experiences and learning to better
myself academically and socially and tried to pass on my happiness onto others. I wanted to do the best
for myself and started taking education one step further and helped me push myself into the final
destination I was headed.
