11. 2 Management f r ames

Most dat a net wor ks now make use of management pr ot ocol s such as SNMP.
I n many envi r onment s t her e can be a number of management st at i ons
sendi ng quer i es t o t he same DUT at t he same t i me.

The st r eamof t est f r ames SHOULD be augment ed wi t h one management
quer y as t he f i r st f r ame sent each second dur i ng t he dur at i on of t he
t r i al . The r esul t of t he quer y must f i t i nt o one r esponse f r ame. The
r esponse f r ame SHOULD be ver i f i ed by t he t est equi pment . One exampl e
of t he speci f i c quer y f r ame t hat shoul d be used i s shown i n Appendi x
C.
