He is not content to watch us from a distance, nor to simply send his love to us. Rather, he comes radically close to us, fills us with his being, and gives himself entirely to us. We, in turn, are called to give ourselves entirely to him, as to a spouse. The marriage between God and his people, between Christ and his Church, is both permanent and fruitful. This bond of love cannot be broken. Moreover, it always brings about new life in the spirit. It is because the Church is the Bride of Christ that she proclaims the dignity of all human life, and calls us to welcome every life with generosity. Pilgrimage with PPC Join with the PPC and your fellow parishioners for a Pilgrimage on June 7 th . We will leave SFB at 9am and go to the Shrine of Mother Cabrini and then to St. Joseph College Seminary for a tour and lunch. At 2:30 we will have Mass at Holy Name Cathedral celebrated by Msgr. From the Pastors Desk On behave of Fr. Mark and his Family I want to thank all those who attended his First Mass here at St. Francis Borgia last Sunday and those who helped us to prepare the beautiful Liturgy in Church and very enjoyable reception in the Stokes Center. As we announced before Fr. Mark is going to Poland to celebrate thanksgiving Mass in his home parish. He will start his ministry as associate Pastor on July 1st. Please pray for our wonderful Graduation Class and join us for the Mass at 8:30am on Tuesday, June 3rd and at 7:00pm for Graduation Celebration. I thank them for everything they did for St. Francis Borgia Parish and School. I encourage them to be active members of our parish and I believe that they will make us proud. The school year is coming to the end and I wanted to ask again all parents and families to consider registering their children to our school so they can receive the formation which will help them in the future life. Please join us for the June 7th Pilgrimage to the Shrine of Mother Cabrini and then to St. Joseph College Seminary for a tour and lunch. The details are in the bulletin. On Sunday, June 22nd we will celebrate the feast The Corpus Christi with the special 1:30pm bilingual Mass and outside procession to four altars.
