Trailing PE :
The market demonstrated a mixed trading pattern, as the beginning enthusiasm sedated over
time. Consequently, the bourse ended flat again, closing prime index DSEX at 4,555 points.
During today, stock specific movements were notable, while investors switching to lucratively
valued scrips. But, general investors participation was poor, turning down turnover by 17% to
BDT 3.5 bn. In the phase of sectoral performance, last days well performing sectors, like
Telecommunication (-1.04%) faced correction today following Food & Allied (-1.23%), while
Cement (+1.08%) performed well.

SALVOCHEM:
The Board of Directors has recommended 10% stock dividend for the year ended on December 31, 2013. The Board has also decided to increase the Authorized Capital of the Company
from Tk. 50.00 crore to Tk. 150.00 crore. Date of AGM: 27.08.2014, Time: 11:00 AM, Venue: Seagull, Shinghar Dighi, Mawna, Sreepur, Gazipur. Record date: 25.06.2014. The Company has
also reported net profit after tax of Tk. 50.77 million, EPS of Tk. 1.09, NAV per share of Tk. 12.05 and NOCFPS of Tk. 1.54 for the year ended on December 31, 2013 as against Tk. 31.57
million, Tk. 0.68 (restated), Tk. 11.10 and Tk. 1.84 respectively for the year ended on December 31, 2012.
SIBL:
(Q1): As per un-audited quarterly accounts for the 1st quarter ended on 31st March 2014 (Jan'14 to March'14), the Company has reported consolidated net profit after tax (excluding non-
controlling interest) of Tk. 365.79 million with consolidated basic EPS of Tk. 0.52 as against Tk. 122.29 million and Tk. 0.17 respectively for the same period of the previous year.
KAY&QUE:
(Q1): As per un-audited quarterly accounts for the 1st quarter ended on 31st March 2014 (Jan'14 to March'14), the Company has reported net profit/(loss) after tax of Tk. (1.15) million with
EPS of Tk. (0.23) as against Tk. (1.95) million and Tk. (0.40) respectively for the same period of the previous year. Accumulated profit/(loss) of the Company was Tk. (37.98) million as on
31.03.2014.
BDSERVICE:
(Q1): As per un-audited quarterly accounts for the 1st quarter ended on 31st March 2014 (Jan'14 to March'14), the Company has reported profit after tax of Tk. 66.22 million with EPS of Tk.
0.90 as against Tk. 84.74 million and Tk. 1.15 respectively for the same period of the previous year.
