letters recognition on the
students name has been on the
record book on a monthly basis.

Im still working on HWT strokes.

Students have been grouped
according to the assessment.

By the end of this semester I
assessed the letters recognition
and pre-writing skills on the
students names in four different
moments. First the recognition of
their names, Then the recognition
and sounding of the first letter of
their name, after that we evaluated
the recognition of all the sounds in
their names, and the recognition of
other friends names at last.

During the last semester, the HWT
strokes where practiced on a daily
basis. During sign in, morning
routines or centers.

We Grouped our students
according to the information
gathered during centers and
determined their individual way of
learning. We also grouped our
students based on their social-
emotional needs, so they could be
surrounded of kids who motivate
them to give their best.
We kept the most significant
samples of the students work in
order to : make the students
documented on
assessment
worksheets.

Differentiated
homework will be sent
on a weekly basis, as
re-teaching or
enrichment tasks
depending on the
students needs.

Differentiated homework was sent
twice a month to the students.

Report cards, compare previous
results and self-evaluate our
teaching strategies, for re-
grouping and for the parent
conferences.

learning centers and
morning routines as
tools to expand the
knowledge.

classroom and on the

in a folder. We posted E.Q on
every bulletin board and on the
students work that was posted
around the class.

Morning routines was our
students favorite moment of the
day, They waited anxiously for the
word of the day and the name of
the day, which was the outset of
more activities such as HWT

We had the heros show and tell at
the end of this semester.

The Heros presentations were a
huge success. Even after 6
months the kids still remember
their friends heroes when they
hear about a countries name.

of growth.

The Service Learning Project is in
progress. We are working with the
Escuela Santa Elena.

During the last six months we
implemented some new strategies
for classroom management like:
Classroom helpers to teach the
students to have responsibilities,
more independence and a sense
of ownership; a more structured
routine, implementation of the
value of the month in our centers
and books, new sitting
arrangements based on the
students learning needs and their
socio-emotional behavior.
Positive reinforcement was
implemented at all times.
And the class agreement was
reviewed on a monthly basis.

on a weekly basis. The students
and their parents were
congratulated for this
achievement. All the Wall of
Characters were uploaded to
Dropbox the same day.
