THE SECOND COMING OF THE LORD JESUS

Revelation 19:11 - 20:6

I. The Description of our Lords Coming is Spectacular (19:11-16)

1 Thess. 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to
wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus
Christ,
Rom. 5:9 Much more then, being now justied
by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath
through him.
1 Thess. 1:10 And to wait for his Son from
heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even
Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to
come.
Rom. 1:24,26,28 Wherefore God also gave
them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their
own hearts, For this cause God gave them up
unto vile affections: And even as they did not like
to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them
over to a reprobate mind,
1 Thess. 5:1-4 But of the times and the
seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write
unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the
day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then
sudden destruction cometh upon them, as
travail upon a woman with child; and they shall
not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in
darkness, that that day should overtake you as a
thief.
Matt. 24:37-39 But as the days of Noe were, so
shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For
as in the days that were before the ood they
were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in
marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the
ark, And knew not until the ood came, and took
them all away; so shall also the coming of the
Son of man be.
2 Thes 2:8-12 And then shall that Wicked be
revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the
spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the
brightness of his coming: even him, whose
coming is after the working of Satan with all
power and signs and lying wonders, 1and with
all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them
that perish; because they received not the love
of the truth, that they might be saved. And for
this cause God shall send them strong delusion,
that they should believe a lie: that they all might
be damned who believed not the truth, but had
pleasure in unrighteousness.
Mal. 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the
prophet before the coming of the great and
dreadful day of the LORD:
Matt. 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the
end, the same shall be saved.
2 Cor. 6:1-2 We then, as workers together with
him, beseech you also that ye receive not the
grace of God in vain. For he saith, I have heard
thee in a time accepted, and in the day of
salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is
the accepted time; behold, now is the day of
salvation.)
