Pro Life Message

In Washington, DC in 1994 Mother Teresa said that
we fight abortion by teaching the mother what love
really means: "to be willing to give until it hurts...So,
the mother who is thinking of abortion, should be
helped to love, that is, to give until it hurts her plans,
or her free time, to respect the life of her child."
Gustave Thibon has said that the true God transforms
violence into suffering, while the false god trans-
forms suffering into violence. The woman tempted to
have an abortion will transform her suffering into vi-
olence unless she allows love to transform her, and
make her willing to give herself away. The Eucharist
gives both the lesson and the power. Mom is to say
"This is my body, my blood, my life, given up for
you my child."

Prayer to End Abortion
Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life,
and for the lives of all my brothers and sisters. I
know there is nothing that destroys more life than
abortion, yet I rejoice that you have conquered
death by the Resurrection of Your Son. I am ready
to do my part in ending abortion. Today I commit
myself Never to be silent, Never to be passive,
Never to be forgetful of the unborn. I commit my-
self to be active in the pro-life movement, and nev-
er to stop defending life until all my brothers and
sisters are protected, and our nation once again be-
comes a nation with liberty and justice, not just for
some, but for all, through Christ our Lord. Amen!
Please keep in your prayers:
Please pray for: Trish & Joe Fish & Family, Doug
Goodheart, Linda Berg, Terry McKeon, Nate
Simon, Cissy Adams, Terry Stiles, Kenny Ulrich,
Gerry Williams, those from our local area serving in

Care & Share 2014

Did you know that for every dollar contributed to
Care and Share, 98 cents goes directly to helping
fund these needs and other important ministries and
services provided to Catholics right here at home? It
is a fact that your support of Care and Share 2014
will touch each and every church in our eastern
Montana diocese. One doesnt have to look outside
of our diocese to help the poorest of our brothers and
sisters in Christ! Thank you for caring and thank you
for loving each other in Christ's name.
Mass Intentions
As Catholics, we have a long tradition of having Masses celebrated for those we wish to offer up in prayer.
The Mass is the ultimate form of prayer, and each Mass is celebrated for an intention.
Please consider having Masses celebrated for family and friends on special occasions and anniversaries, as
well as those who are in need of prayers. Masses are also encouraged in memory of those loved ones who
have died, especially on the anniversaries of their deaths. Contact Fr. Cory for more information!
Stewardship

June 1, 2014 - 7th Sunday of Easter

"I am praying for them..." John 17: 9

Prayer - the foundation of our Faith and the founda-
tion of Stewardship.
Pray in good times and in bad. Prayer is always the
first best option in any situation. Pray for friends
and family and for those that may not treat you very
well. Pray to give praise, to thank and to ask God
for help. Also, pray to see what God wants us to do.

Catholic Communication
Campaign (CCC)June 01, 2014
The essential mission of the CCC is to contribute
to the process of evangelization by fostering ac-
tivities in relation to television, radio, internet,
and other media, and through special projects of
the Catholic press. An annual collection is taken
up in the dioceses, which remit 50% of the funds
collected to the national office. From these
funds, grants are made by the USCCB Subcom-
mittee on the Catholic Communication Cam-
paign. The remaining portion of the collection is
retained by the diocese for use in local
communication projects.
Thank you for your donation.

The Merciful Out Look Is?
truly merciful, because it recognizes that mercy is a bilateral reality such that as we give we also re-
ceivethus, it isnt a patronizing outlook;
evangelization, proclaiming the good news of Christs love through an authentic love for the other per-
sonthus, it is not a proselytizing outlook;
A response to existential loneliness that gives a cup of love to help quench our neighbors thirst as well
as our own;

A Prayer for Church Unity
Almighty and eternal God, You have promised that
there will someday be but one fold and one Shep-
herd. Hasten that day, we pray You, in Your most
merciful kindness and generosity. Pour the light of
Your grace into the minds of our non-Catholic
friends so that they may see the truth, and fully
realize that the truth is one and undivided. Give
them also the strength of will needed to follow in
the direction of the light You give them.
Let us, their neighbors and friends, not be a hin-
drance to their conversion by our bad example.
Rather let Your goodness be made clear to them by
the virtue of our lives. Then may they finally all be
brought to You, the Light that enlightens every man
who comes into the world.
Amen.
