nuestras tradiciones ms representativas, as como por la diversidad de sus sectores
econmicos: agropecuario, joyero, mueblero, industria del calzado para dama, servicios y
comercio, electrnica y alta tecnologa, en los que Jalisco est a la vanguardia y es lder
nacional.
Esta diversidad se debe a que nuestro estado mantiene un ambiente propicio para los negocios,
lo que tambin nos permite sostener niveles de generacin de empleo por encima del promedio
nacional.
Hoy en da el Estado de Jalisco ofrece, como ningn otro lugar en Mxico, la conjuncin ms
favorable de varios elementos fundamentales para el desarrollo de la emergente y
prometedora industria del Turismo Mdico y de Salud:
Amplia infraestructura hospitalaria: contamos con una red de ms de 600 camas en hospitales
certificados por el Consejo de Salubridad General, un hospital acreditado por la Joint
Commission International y otros cinco ms en proceso de adoptar e implantar dicha
certificacin de calidad, que redunda en la seguridad de los pacientes y de sus familias, al
garantizar servicios mdicos reconocidos internacionalmente.
Capacidad tcnica y profesional de los servicios: contamos con una red de mdicos
certificados y renombrados, que operan en los mejores hospitales del mundo. Las
Universidades de Jalisco preparan los mejores mdicos, enfermeros, e ingenieros en reas
conexas, como verdaderos profesionales de la salud.
Por otra parte, Jalisco cuenta con hermosos destinos tursticos, con climas privilegiados y
conectividad internacional, como Puerto Vallarta y la ribera de Chapala, que son ya lugares de
residencia de miles de extranjeros, y que representan destinos naturales para albergar al
turismo de salud.
