Several circuits for constructing FM transmitters have +een pu+lished in EF23 The power output of
most of these circuits were ver4 low +ecause no power amplifier stages were incorporated3
The transmitter circuit descri+ed here has an e5tra .F power amplifier stage6 after the oscillator stage6 to raise the
power output to #$$&#%$ milliwatts3 7ith a good matching %$&ohm ground8plane antenna or multi&element 2agi
antenna6 this transmitter can provide reasona+l4 good signal strength up to a distance of a+out # 9ilometres3
The circuit +uilt around transistor T: ;1F<=<> is a +asic low&power varia+le& fre?uenc4 V/F oscillator3 A varicap diode
circuit is included to change the fre?uenc4 of the transmitter and to provide fre?uenc4 modulation +4 audio signals3 The
output of the oscillator is a+out %$ milliwatts3 Transistor T# ;#,()**> forms a V/F&class A power amplifier3 't +oosts the
oscillator signals@ power four to five times3 Thus6 #$$&#%$ milliwatts of power is generated at the collector of transistor

You need an FM Band Receiver to listen to the transmitted signal. Now a days, most mobile phones have inbuilt FM
receiver. Turn on the FM mode, tune your mobile to listen to the transmitted voice signal.

After construction of the circuit it is saw that the 22ohms preset for 3866 tr emiter goes burned out & the transistor get much
heat to burn out also. The range of the tr is only 150ft with a 3element yagi antenna. How can I extend its range?
