LETTER OF MOTIVATION

Dear Sir,

I wish to state my motivation to take the Master VIBOT course in this letter. My main
motivation to join the Master VIBOT comes from the fact that I have a keen interest in
the field of computer vision. Half way during my four years of undergraduate studies, I
started to learn about image processing fundamentals and did research in image
enhancement. In this period, I captured a clear background of image processing
fundamentals. I achieved this under the supervision of one of my instructors at the
university who is a researcher in the field of image processing and has numerous
research publications to his name. From there onwards my confidence and interest in
this field increased without bound and I decided to take the final project related to the
same field, specifically, image analysis. The project was a success and I had three
research publications accepted internationally before the final presentation of the project
which was later on declared as the best project. In this way I had five international
research publications to my name before I graduated. With this background in view I
have decided to continue my studies in the same field to support my interests in support
of the advice of my friends and instructors.

I think that this course is the right track on which I can proceed because of its
uniqueness. To my knowledge, this course is not taught in any other part of the world
and I did not find any other Masters course which provides the same material in terms
of knowledge to the students. I can infer from peoples experiences that a mobility
course activity is more versatile both professionally and culturally. It is possible for a
person to interact with a variety of people and gain knowledge and abilities. Further, the
social development of a personality is also a key point in this activity. People from
different parts of the world interact and work as a team to come out with successful
results.
I believe that this track has more value in forthcoming days as regards to industry and
job opportunity. Also it is more versatile as far as research is concerned according to
the courses offered in this specialization. After the completion of my degree, I am
planning a career in the same field. So, I have plans to continue for doctorate studies in
future. However, a fascinating job opportunity might affect my decision to study without
taking a break.
I therefore revealed my desire to study in Master VIBOT in this letter. I am confident that
my previous qualifications and achievements are my distinction and that I will be able to
meet the criterion listed by the admission authorities. I wish to be selected for this
course on scholarship and hope that I managed to convince you for being selected for
this course. I am looking forward to a positive appraisal of my application.
