1. General

We have prepared an assessment for the Ground Improvement works by using Stone Columns based on
the Enquiries we have received from M/s Dodsal, Abu Dhabi.

Total Area of Ground Improvement 24,700 Sq.m


2. Site Location & Brief

The site is located in ICAD-1, Abu Dhabi.


3. Scope of Work:

3.1. Ground Improvement

Main Contractor requested to submit our offer based on two Options, Option-1 by using stone columns
and Option-2 by dynamic replacement.

The allowable bearing pressure required is 200Kpa for Plot Area- 130m x 190m

5. Soil Investigation Report

In this area there are 6 bores holes conducted to a maximum depth of 20m and some trial pits.
As per the soil investigation report, the following is the summary for general information, for detailed
information one has to go through the Soil report.

In general the top strata is Silty Sand with traces of clay upto 9.0m and very dense Silty sand from 9 to
11.0m and Mudstone starts from 11.0m, with UCS varies from 0.25MPa to 3.15MPa.

6. Commercial Payment Terms

1. 5% Advance Payment
2. Performance guarantee 10%, validity until Jan 31
st
2019.
3. 10% Rention shall be released after receipt of completion certificate.

7. Duration of the Project

Total duration is 45days for construction of Stone Columns.

8. Submission Procedure

2. Unpriced Commercial Bid- 1 set
