Astral Projection Exercise

There are four main types of exercises you can use when trying to induce an obe.
They are:

Relaxation
Energy Balancing
Mind Control
Focus
n addition to these you can also use prayer at the beginning of the practice.
Below is described a typical practice session.
Begin by laying down on your bed with the door closed! a pillow under your
"nees and a comforter o#er you. Most authorities on astral tra#el recommend
that you find a place where you will be undisturbed. Ta"e a few moments to
ground yourself $in$ your body! to relax into yourelf at the moment at this
particular place and time. Then you can say a prayer that goes something li"e
this:
%&ear 'od(dess! Creator! )ngels and 'uides from the *ight:
pray that may lea#e my body in order to ......................
+lease help me and protect me in this endea#or,%
Then #isuali-e yourself surrounded with white light! and as you focus in on this
light you become absorbed in the beauty of this energy and often ha#e some
wondrous #isions and feelings of peace.
Relaxation
Then begin to focus on your feet! and in a typical relaxation
exercise! mo#e through my body from toe to head stretching!
clenching and then relaxing each body part. .isuali-e energy
swirling through each part of your body releasing tension.

Energy Balancing
Then cleanse! balance and charge your cha"ras.
Mind Control
Then you can use a techni/ue adapted by the author years ago
from the 0il#a Mind Control teachings to put your body to sleep.
n your mind say: %1m going to count down from 2 to 3!
#isuali-ing each number on a white orb suspended in the air abo#e
my head! and when reach the third and final %3% my body will be
asleep and will ha#e no awareness of physical sensations. will
not percei#e any physical discomfort! and my consciousness will be
focused on my astral body.%
Then #isuali-e a white orb suspended in the air abo#e your head.
4hen you will be mentally well5focused on the orb! #isuali-e a
number %2% on the face of the orb. The numbers can be any color
you choose. The important thing is to create a pattern! for
training your brain to react the way you desire whene#er you
perform this se/uence. This is the heart of the power of ritual,
.isuali-e the 2 three times: three number %21s% on the orb. %My
body is completely relaxed! becoming numb. am losing
awareness of physical sensation.%
Then repeat the #isuali-ation with three number %61s.% %My body
is asleep now. feel no sensations! no discomfort. will now
#isuali-e the %31s.% 4hen am finished! will ha#e no awareness
of physical sensations. My consciousness will be in my astral
body.%
Then #isuali-e the %31s% three times. %My body is now completely
asleep. ha#e no awareness of physcial sensations. My
consciousness is in my astral body.%
The benefit of training your mind this way is that you can greatly
accelerate the process of transferring your awareness away from
the physical body. Each time you practice this! the programming
becomes a little bit stronger! after some time you will #isuali-e the
numbers and ha#e your body asleep in two or three minutes.
Focus
7nce you are in this state try to clear your mind by focusing on
your breath! or the tip of your tongue! or any one thing. The "ey is
to remain conscious while your body is asleep. 8aturally! all sorts
of thoughts pull you from the focus! but you can return as soon as
you notice you1#e strayed to your concentration on one thing.
9our obe1s can often occur after a period of focus when your mind
has drifted and has been on the #erge of sleep. This is when you
ha#e awa"ened to find yourself either out of the body or when the
%surges% ha#e come on. 9ou will often do-e off when beginning
practice! but ta"e it up again when you are awa"e by focusing your
attention and trying to remain conscious while your body sleeps.
