The all-in-one system

Flexibility
Customers can adapt their applications quickly and simply to the
relevant machine functions. As well as being used in new machi
nes, SIJECT is also an ideal system for modernizing and retrofitting
injection molding machines thanks to its openness, expandability
and flexibility. Whatever you do, though, you save a lot of time,
because you only need to make a minimum of adjustments in the
PLC program to set your hydraulic machine into production.
SIJECT 16 comprises different components:
A ready to use system: SIJECT 16i CS, Complete system
An operator panel, e.g. SIJECT OP 15B or a
SIMATIC panel (e.g. OP 170B, TP 270, MP 270B, MP 370)
and an additional keyboard
A Compact Interface (CI board)
CI16i (= S7-300 CPU 314) or CI16iP (= S7-300 CPU 314C-2DP)
Openness and expandability
Both SIJECT CI16i/CI16iP can be combined with other SIMATIC
operator panels via the MPI interface. They can be expanded sim
ply and at low cost with standard S7-300 I/O modules via the in
tegral SIMATIC I/O bus interface. The CI16iP also has a PROFIBUS
interface, allowing it to be integrated into distributed control
structures. Application examples (in SIMATIC STEP 7) for different
types of injection molding machines (toggle, fully hydraulic
swi-vel disk, thermo set, etc.) as well as technology software for
open- and closed-loop machines and standard screens for HMI
(ProTool) v 6.0 SP2 are available.
