Amid the excitement generated by a Primary Election, especially one which offers uniue
opportunities for our !ational and "ounty candidates, let us not forget that, a scant eight days
following the election of our Primary "andidates, e#ery "ommittee $ember must cast a #ote to
elect the leaders responsible for sustaining our momentum through !o#ember%s &eneral Election'
(n June 11, a ma)ority of the $"*" will elect a "ounty "hair' +n ,ecember, when you
chose me to ta-e the reins of this great organi.ation until the next annual meeting, it seemed li-e
years away, but time, filled with many acti#ities and e#ents raced by and we are now in June, a
short time away from the election of a full term "hairperson'
+ -now that few of us can be at e#ery e#ent and many of us are luc-y to ha#e the time to
ma-e a showing at one or two e#ents a year' + write at this time to as- for each of our less acti#e
members to ma-e a ma)or, totally cost/free, contribution to your "ommittee' 0imply come to the
meeting' Please loo- at the short agenda and note the introduction of a time, before ad)ourning, to
listen to the comments and suggestions of your fellow *epublicans 1for the good of the order23'

5or those of you who do not -now me, + am >isa *ichford and + am see-ing the
nomination to continue to be the $ercer "ounty "hair and am respectfully as-ing for your
support'
5orty nine years ago, + was born in Philadelphia, to a G0 $arine and his G-rainian wife'
+ ha#e li#ed in $ercer "ounty for 92 years, 22 of which ha#e been in 7amilton =ownship' +
currently reside in 7amilton, !J with my family that includes my nine year old son "ameron John
who attends ?ard#ille 7eights Elementary 0chool, has played baseball for the last : years at
0unnybrae >ittle >eague and has recently achie#ed his 6ear *an- in "ub 0couts and is now
mo#ing onto 4ebelos' 7e is the best thing that has e#er happened to me' 7e and dad ha#e been
#ery generous gi#ing up a part of their time alone with mom so that she can run a law practice and
help the $ercer *epublicans'
+ am a graduate of 7ightstown 7igh H1CB9I and of *owan Gni#ersity H6'A' in >aw and
Justice, 1CB@I and of the =homas $' "ooley 0chool of >aw in >ansing, $ichigan H1CC2I'

As a proud member of the !ew Jersey and Pennsyl#ania 6ars, as well as a long standing
member of the $ercer "ounty 6ar Association, + ha#e wor-ed under a number of )udges since the
beginning of my legal career that started in 1CB4' + ha#e helped firms large and small, corporate
and pri#ate, with cases ranging from family ser#ices and adoptions, to contributing to ensuring
safety and efficacy testing of medical de#ices and drugs in the o#ersight of these potentially life/
sa#ing clinical trials'
As a $ercer "ounty *epublican, + ran for $ercer "ounty 0urrogate in 2011 and ha#e
consistently supported other $ercer "ounty candidates o#er the last thirty years' + assisted in
*epublican campaigns while in law school and continuously since then, including "ongressman
0mith%s and &o#ernor 4hitman%s 0enate and &ubernatorial campaigns'
0ince June, 2011, + ha#e ser#ed as the $ercer "ounty 5irst Dice "hair, until being
elected as "hair in ,ecember, 2019'
$y community ser#ice includes fund raising and organi.ational wor- to memoriali.e the
li#es of the 24B ser#icemen and women of the 101 Airborne and crew who died in the &ander
plane crash of 1CB;, helping to establish the 10ilent 4itness3 memorial that stands at the crash
site todayJ + am proud of my 20/year leadership role with Riding High Farm, pro#iding
horsebac- riding therapy to $ercer "ounty%s 0pecial !eeds "ommunity and of my ser#ice on
the Parent Ad#isory "ommittee for Ad#enture Auarium in "amden, !J and, of course, my
current membership in the 7amilton =ownship P=A'
+t gi#es me pleasure to be able to #olunteer my legal s-ills in the cause of the Party and to
combine them with the management s-ills one de#elops Hor soon closes ones doorsI in running a
pri#ate law practice, contracts manager and counsel for a global clinical research organi.ation
whose clients include large pharmaceutical companies and biotechs' 22 years as an attorney has
sufficiently prepared me for this challenge'
=hose who -now me professionally and in my pri#ate pursuits -now that + am an extremely
hard wor-er unafraid of a contest or a challenge' 6ecause, to my eyes, the glass is always half
filled, not empty, + see a bright future for the $ercer "ounty *epublican "ommittee'
=o -eep it #ital and to attract and retain eager and acti#e members, + firmly belie#e that
"ommittee meetings must be inclusi#e and interacti#e' =hat%s why + initiated opening our
Executi#e 6oard $eetings to all "ommittee members and encouraging open discussion during the
meetings' =his is how we can get the best ideas to surface' =hose who were at the $ay meeting
of the E 6oard will recall that the meeting ended with a 16ring +t =o =he =able3 segment' As
you will note in the current !otice for the Annual $eeting, the concept is directly from *obert%s
*ules of (rder, and will be a permanent part of the agenda so long as + ha#e the opportunity to
carry out that pledge' Just as there are no small parts in a well written play, there are no 1small
"ommittee members3 in a well/organi.ed "ommittee'
A final thank you to the many, many who ha#e gi#en support to the $"*" directly or
indirectly during my #ery short term as your "hair' =he successes we achie#ed in the brief six
months since you put me in this position will spawn many new and more lasting successes in the
term that lies ahead2
