Summary I am a die hard St. Louis built environment enthusiast and city-living lover. I live just south of Downtown St. Louis in a turn of the century brick home in a historic neighborhood with my wife and 3 kids. I like good/fresh ethnic and local food, great European-styled beer & bread, indie rock, conversation and company. Professionally, I am a scientist through and through, though my career in agricultural biotechnology has led me down many paths. I love modern science and its potential to change lives and economies and the environment. I have worked in the field, in the lab, in the cube, office and hallway...you name it. I've seen corn fields and cities all over the Americas. Most of all, I've been lucky enough to surround myself with brilliant people from nearly all disciplines of science and all parts of the world. Immunochemistry and agronomy are my favorite fields of science. I've made a lot of friends along the way and hope to stay in my field until I retire. If you'd like to connect, please do.
