June 10 and 12: School dismissed @ 1:00 PM
June 11 and 13: School dismissed @ 10:40 AM
No lunches are available during these days except for Monday, June 9 th . Buses will be available at dismissal time. If a student is not taking an exam, he/she must provide his/her own transportation and leave the Hermitage school property immediately.
ATTENDANCE DURING EXAMS:
1. Students who have ONE exam and have transportation to and from school need not come until or stay after that particular exam. In order to do this, a permission form signed by parents or guardians is required. This form may be obtained from your study hall teacher and returned to your study hall teacher.
2. Students coming for the second exam only should not arrive before 10:30 AM. They must be in their second exam location by 10:35 AM. Students taking only the first exam should leave school property by 10:35 AM.
3. STUDENTS ARE NOT TO VISIT OTHER SCHOOLS DURING EXAMS or during that other schools regular school day. Students caught at other schools during these times will be charged with trespassing.
4. PLEASE NOTE: County policy states, After the exams have begun, students cannot enter or leave the school or examination room except for emergencies. A student who is tardy to an exam may not take the exam during that period. If an acceptable reason is given, the exam may be rescheduled at the teachers convenience. Students who are tardy or miss an exam without a valid reason may not make up an exam.
5. Exams are 100 minutes in length. No one is allowed to leave the exam room until the bell rings designating the end of the Page 2 of 3
exam period. There will be no exceptions to this regulation unless an emergency arises. In an emergency situation, the teacher is to call the office to contact an Assistant Principal or contact the duty teacher immediately for assistance. There should be no traffic in the halls during exam period. Study Hall teachers are not to release students.
6. Make-up exams will be given at the earliest time that can be arranged. It is the students responsibility to arrange the time to take the exam.
7. Should an exam day be canceled due to inclement weather, that day will be repeated on the day of return to school, and the schedule will proceed as recorded thereafter. If a review day prior to the exam schedule is canceled due to inclement weather, that day will not be repeated, and the exam schedule will proceed as published.

The Make- up Policy:
Exams will be administered as scheduled. Make-up exams must be authorized by the grade-level Principal. Students will be given a special make-up permission slip by the grade- level Principal to present to teachers.
The Exam Review Requirement:
Teachers will review in every class. The exam review must equal two blocks and can be split over several days. Students must be present each day in class for the review. Also, teachers will provide written guidelines for the exam review. The written exam review is mandatory.
Excused Absence from study hall:
Study Hall students must fill out the Exam Attendance Form in advance of being absent from Study Hall. Study Hall teachers will be in their study hall room during the time of the Study Hall. Students MAY NOT sit in the commons area during any exam.
