• Detailed study of Advanced Computer Architecture.
• Testing of VLSI circuits.
• Mathematical basis of Computing.

Projects:
• Awarded the “Best Project Award” for the project titled “PC based Annunciator
design with analog data acquisition” for completion of my undergraduate degree
which was based on finding fault inputs for any given system and to correct the
same.

The Annunciator system is one which can be connected to any mechanical device
having analog inputs. The main concept was finding faults in the device using relay
switching technology. A sensor monitors the functions of the device whose inputs
and threshold values are known. If there is any occurrence of faults the relay
switches off and the operator is able to see where the fault occurs and the system
automatically corrects it.

The interface was developed using Visual Basic and the program was coded in C++
due to its GUI. The sensors used were AD-590 and IEE-IS8442 for fault monitoring
purposes.

○ Developed the concept

○ Authored the report

• Did a mini project on “Wireless Data Imagery GPS” which was a cheaper version of
the latest technology GPS navigation systems using image processing and DSP chips.

This project was based upon wireless DSP chips IR7000 and IR 79xx which are used
for receiving and transmitting packets of data(usually image sent as data packets).
The GSM cellular network was incorporated into the chips using C language which
enabled us to create a low cost version of the GPS devices currently available in the
market.

○ Worked as a team to conceptualize the design

○ Developed the software for the project.
